Job Description
Culinary Cloud | Netherlands | Remote with regular customer visits | 32–40 hours per week Help restaurant owners, chefs and managers get more value from Culinary Cloud. Take ownership of your own customer portfolio, build trusted relationships and turn insights into practical improvements as part of a small, ambitious team. About Culinary Cloud We’re building Culinary Cloud to help restaurants take control of their costs, improve their margins, and spend less time on administration. Join a small, ambitious team working directly with the founders and close to our customers. About the role At Culinary Cloud, we help restaurants become more profitable, efficient and successful. Our software automates data collection and performance tracking, turning information about costs, purchasing, inventory and operations into clear insights and practical opportunities to improve. We combine powerful software with personal service so customers can make smarter decisions without hours of manual analysis. As a Customer Success Manager, you will own a portfolio of restaurant clients and become their trusted point of contact. You will work directly with owners, chefs and managers to understand their challenges, guide them through our platform and help them put improvements into practice. You will take responsibility for customer satisfaction and success, from the first onboarding session to ongoing support and regular visits. We are a fast-growing startup with a small, ambitious team. You will work directly with the founders, contribute ideas and help us scale without compromising the quality of service our customers receive. We are more interested in your abilities, attitude and potential than your job titles or years of experience. You do not need to be an expert from day one: we provide training in our platform, processes and the restaurant industry. The role offers remote working within the Netherlands for 32–40 hours per week, with regular in-person customer visits. You will manage your own customers, make decisions within clear guidelines and have the independence to take responsibility for their success. As Culinary Cloud grows, you will have opportunities to take on greater responsibility and develop into senior customer success, team leadership, commercial account management or hospitality performance consulting. Join us at an early stage and help shape the future of restaurant technology. What you’ll do Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with your own portfolio of restaurant clients. Conduct regular check-ins and in-person visits to understand customer challenges and priorities. Take ownership of customer requests, resolve problems and follow through on commitments. Guide new customers through onboarding and platform training. Present performance reports, cost-saving opportunities and operational recommendations developed with our team. Coordinate action plans and help customers implement practical improvements. Monitor customer satisfaction, engagement and platform usage to identify where support is needed. Identify opportunities for referrals, additional services and account expansion. What you bring Fluent Dutch and professional English, with clear communication and strong relationship-building skills. A base in the Netherlands and willingness to visit restaurant customers regularly. Strong organisation, a proactive approach and the ability to work independently. Ownership of customer needs: keep your commitments, solve problems and follow through. An interest in business, technology and helping customers improve their results. Hospitality or restaurant operations experience is an advantage, but not essential. Experience in customer success, account management or customer service is an advantage, but not essential. An understanding of restaurant costs, purchasing or operational performance, or experience with SaaS and business software, is welcome but not required. Who fits best You enjoy working with people and naturally build strong, lasting relationships. You take responsibility for customer satisfaction and look for ways to help before being asked. You take initiative, enjoy problem-solving and turn agreed actions into results. You are open to feedback, eager to learn and motivated to keep improving. You enjoy a small, ambitious team, work at pace and want to contribute ideas directly to the founders. You want to grow with the company, develop your skills and earn greater responsibility through your contribution. Compensation Salary: €3,000–€4,000 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on your skills and experience. Salary is adjusted proportionally for fewer hours. We are developing performance-based bonuses and an employee participation programme. High-performing, committed team members may have the opportunity to earn 0.25–1% equity or equity-linked participation, with potential for greater participation based on exceptional contribution. These opportunities are subject to eligibility, performance and separate agreements and are not guaranteed compensation. How we work Move fast: Put ideas into practice, learn from what happens, and get the details right where customers depend on us. Own the outcome: Take responsibility for your work, keep others informed, and follow through on your commitments. Always learning: Ask questions, seek honest feedback, and explore scalable systems and practical ways AI can improve our work. Aim higher: Set ambitious goals and turn better ideas into better results for restaurants. Why come work with us? Responsibility from the start: Own meaningful work and see the difference your contribution makes. Work directly with the founders: Bring your ideas into the conversations that shape what we build next. Room to grow: Learn through challenging work and take on more as the company grows.
