As a Team Lead C#, you build a strong team of developers and together you create software that makes our customers happy. You coach, inspire, and enjoy programming alongside them. With your sharp eye, you improve processes and motivate your team to become a little better every day. What does a Team Lead TypeScript at Coolblue do? As a Team Lead TypeScript, you lead a multidisciplinary team of 3–7 Coolblue colleagues. You are not only the team captain but also a hands-on developer, spending 75–80% of your time coding, engaging in technical discussions, making architectural decisions and doing pair programming. Together with the Product Owner, Customer Journey Specialist, Designer and Analyst, you guide the team in the right direction. You ensure code quality by applying best practices and conducting code reviews, while continuously looking for ways to improve collaboration and productivity. You foster an open culture where feedback is the norm, so new team members feel at home quickly. Together, you build software that delights our customers. Building and leading a team that delivers robust software. Helping your team members set goals and choose smart approaches to achieve them. Actively developing and contributing to team projects. Reviewing code, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of craftsmanship and collaboration. Coaching team members with continuous feedback and supporting their growth. Improving processes to fully leverage Scrum methodologies. You recognize yourself in the following At least 3 years of experience with TypeScript in the back end in scalable projects. Experience with PHP is a plus. Minimum 2 years of experience in coaching and team development. Leadership skills that foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere. Strong communication skills to clearly explain complex decisions. Problem-solving ability and familiarity with SOLID, TDD and BDD principles. Core Responsibilities

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of 3–7 colleagues while spending most of your time coding, contributing to projects, and making technical and architectural decisions. Maintain code quality through reviews and best practices, coach team members, and improve collaboration, productivity, and Scrum processes.

Requirements

Requires at least 3 years of backend TypeScript experience on scalable projects and at least 2 years of experience coaching and developing teams; PHP experience is a plus. Candidates should demonstrate collaborative leadership, strong communication and problem-solving skills, familiarity with SOLID, TDD, and BDD, and a focus on code quality and agile work.
