What you bring End-to-end payroll processing in-house or within a payroll service provider Knowledge of payroll best practices. Proficient in using software tools like Excel / Google Suite. An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact. Is a productivity geek and will constantly think of ways to improve and speed up their work. You understand the need and ideal to work largely asynchronously. Writes and speaks fluent English It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus It's not required to have experience working on AFAS payroll software, but considered a plus Key Responsibilities Act as a true subject matter expert for the Netherlands Manage existing relationships with key stakeholder within Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, Engineers. Process full end to end payroll in-house, statutory filing requirements, exceptions, approvals, payments and compliance. Ensure full data integrity and quality Payroll journals/reconciliations Focus on KPIs and SLAs Implement and improve processes Mentor and support payroll specialists Back up regional managers during times of absence

Core Responsibilities

Own end-to-end Netherlands payroll processing, including statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, payments, compliance, data quality, and payroll reconciliations. Manage stakeholder relationships, monitor KPIs and SLAs, improve processes, mentor payroll specialists, and provide regional management backup when needed.

Requirements

Candidates should have end-to-end payroll processing experience, knowledge of payroll best practices, and proficiency with Excel or Google Suite. They should be analytical, adaptable in a fast-paced international environment, comfortable working asynchronously, fluent in English, and motivated to improve productivity; remote work and AFAS payroll experience are considered advantages.
