Service Engineering is part of Tesla’s Vehicle Software organization. We build the tools that help technicians find the right information and diagnose any Tesla vehicle or robot fast, so they can repair it right the first time. Our tools also help customers with their own service activities. This lowers the cost of ownership, a direct benefit to every Tesla owner. You will work alongside bright engineers on complex problems, using the latest technologies. Expect high standards, strong coaching and fast growth to supercharge your career. We are looking for top talent. In this role, you will focus on the frontend of our diagnostic tools, on the vehicle touchscreen and across our products (example: https://service.tesla.com/service-mode). You will learn how vehicle systems work and which diagnostic information matters. How we work with SI: we use it to brainstorm, trial ideas and generate code, and we encourage you to do the same. But you stay in charge: verify the output, think critically and pay attention to detail. We are especially interested in your portfolio and personal projects. In your CV, show what you built and achieved yourself, alone or in a team. Internship Program Through internships with Tesla Vehicle Software, you grow your skills on complex real-world engineering problems, guided by an assigned mentor.
