Lab Technician (5-Shift Schedule) – Delrin® Laboratory
About the Delrin® Laboratory
At the modern Delrin® Laboratory, routine analyses are carried out in small teams of three laboratory technicians per shift to support and monitor production processes. The laboratory performs raw material, environmental, process, and final product testing for the Delrin Chemical and Delrin Finishing departments.
Job Description
Due to maternity leave, we are looking for an enthusiastic Lab Technician Shift for a temporary period of one year.
As a Lab Technician Shift, you will be responsible for performing routine laboratory analyses and contributing to reliable and efficient process operations within our production environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Performing primarily automated routine chemical analyses according to established procedures.
- Carrying out first-line troubleshooting of analytical equipment following comprehensive internal training.
- Working independently within a small team in a 5-shift operation.
- Evaluating and interpreting analytical results.
- Reporting results in LIMS and carrying out various administrative tasks.
- Analyzing standards and control samples.
- Performing basic preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment.
- Working with various computer systems and supporting applications.

Qualifications
- MLO Level 4 or equivalent.
- Experience with analytical and/or physical analysis techniques is an advantage.
- Team player who can effectively collaborate in small, self-managing teams.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Technical aptitude and affinity with laboratory equipment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Results-oriented and goal-driven mindset.
- Service- and customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, sometimes under time pressure.
- Accurate and well-organized working style.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
