Combine a wonderful weekend away with a beautiful theater performance, choose to go shopping together or discover the beautiful surroundings of Central Limburg. History It is the mid-nineties and the theater in Roermond is having a hard time. Van der Valk sees opportunities and decides, in consultation with the municipality, to take over the theater for a symbolic amount of 1 guilder. Shortly afterwards, the construction of a new hotel tower next to the theater begins. Now, almost 25 years later, TheaterHotel De Oranjerie hosts more than 100 performances every year. With a large hall that can accommodate more than 750 people, the theater in Roermond is one of the largest in North and Central Limburg. As a result, there are regularly large productions and famous names in the theater. Culinary enjoyment TheaterHotel De Oranjerie has the place to enjoy yourself with Cerise. Cerise's extended opening hours ensure that you are welcome at almost any time of the day. Enjoy a cup of coffee with Limburgse vlaai, a nice lunch, a tasty dinner or a delicious snack platter with a good glass of wine. In addition, TheaterHotel De Oranjerie also offers packages in combination with the theatre. Put together your overnight stay yourself with a theater performance and/or dinner and overnight stay. Discover the area In addition to the historic center of Roermond, the surrounding area also has plenty to offer. Especially the diversity of activities is unique and makes it easy to enjoy a long weekend in Roermond. With Het Cuypershuis, the ECI Cultuurfabriek, the Meinweg nature reserve, the Herkenbosche golf course, the Roermond Designer Outlet and the largest continuous water sports area in the Netherlands, the Maasplassen, Roermond offers plenty to relax and enjoy.
