At DSV in Eemshaven, you will lead our Kitting team, ensuring that materials and technical components are accurately prepared, delivered on time and meet the required specifications for use in data centres.

How do you do this? Within our high-tech data centre operation, the Kitting department is responsible for picking, checking and assembling materials and electronic components into complete kits. These kits are prepared according to customer-specific requirements for further processing and installation.

As Senior Team Leader Kitting, you are responsible for the daily management, performance and development of your team. You oversee planning, quality and productivity, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. You lead coordinators and employees, work closely with the Supervisor and take the initiative to continuously improve operational processes.

You achieve this by:

• leading, coaching and developing your team and operational coordinators, ensuring optimal staffing levels and a clear distribution of responsibilities;
• organising and monitoring the entire kitting process, from material availability and order preparation to quality control and on-time delivery;
• monitoring and improving operational KPIs, including productivity, quality, delivery reliability, safety and 5S standards;
• identifying and resolving bottlenecks in capacity, planning and material flows, while proactively collaborating with other departments and stakeholders;
• initiating and implementing process improvements while maintaining a safe, structured and efficient working environment.

You bring

• proven experience as a Team Leader, Senior Team Leader or Supervisor within a logistics, production or high-tech environment;
• experience in leading and developing teams, monitoring operational performance and implementing process improvements;
• affinity with technical logistics, inventory management, order processing and working according to strict quality and safety procedures;
• strong organisational and analytical skills, combined with natural leadership, a sense of responsibility and a results-driven mindset;
• good command of the English language; Dutch is considered an advantage.
