About the role

As an IT Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our customers' IT environments. Working closely with Systems Engineers, customers, and wider technical teams, you will support the installation, maintenance, and optimization of server, network, and desktop infrastructure within data center and server room environments.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, collaborating with diverse teams, and contributing to reliable IT operations. Your work will directly support business continuity, operational excellence, and a positive customer experience.

How you will contribute

• Install, configure, and connect customer hardware according to approved technical designs and requirements.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of data center and server room infrastructure, including environmental monitoring, access controls, and related security measures.
• Create, update, and maintain accurate technical documentation, network records, and asset information.
• Assist with IT site audits, onboarding and offboarding activities, and the allocation and management of IP addresses.
• Support routine system administration, including patching, upgrades, maintenance activities, backups, and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers to identify and implement solutions that improve performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and respond to server, desktop, and network incidents, supporting containment, recovery, and root cause analysis activities.
• Provide technical support for network connectivity and infrastructure-related issues, including wireless, switching, and routing environments.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades and help implement vendor-recommended improvements and best practices.
• Work closely with colleagues and customers across different locations and time zones to deliver a consistent and high-quality service.

What you will bring

• A Bachelor's degree, equivalent work experience, or a comparable level of thinking and working in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience supporting IT infrastructure environments, including Windows Server platforms and enterprise hardware.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative, customer-focused approach and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
