JYSK is a rapidly expanding retail chain with more than 3,000 stores in 50 countries. To support this growth logistically, the 10th distribution center is being built in Lelystad. Construction is in full swing, and we expect the distribution center to be operational by early 2027. But of course, that doesn’t mean we’re sitting still until then! Currently, a lot of work is being done in our temporary distribution center to ensure a smooth transition to the new facility.
Job Description

Shift: Evening
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 15:00-00:00
Contract: Fulltime (40h week)
As a Terminal Truck Driver, your main responsibility is to ensure an efficient flow of containers between the port and our distribution center. Your main tasks include:
- Collecting full containers from the port and returning empty ones
- Transporting containers between the port and our distribution center
- Docking containers at the designated loading docks
In addition, when extra support is needed, your tasks may also include:
- Unloading trucks
- Checking incoming goods
- Picking orders using a scanner
- Preparing pallets for dispatch
- Loading trucks

Requirements:
- Valid T driving licence (tractor)
Qualifications
Do you already have experience in logistics? Great! If not, we will teach you!
Most important is that:
- You like physical work and staying active
- You can work reliably in a structured environment
- You are a team player and take responsibility
- English is necessary

Core Responsibilities
The Terminal Truck Driver is responsible for the efficient transport of containers between the port and the distribution center. Additional duties include loading, unloading, and order picking to support warehouse operations.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid T driving license for tractors and be capable of performing physical work in a structured environment. Proficiency in English is required, and while logistics experience is preferred, training is provided.
