Your new job | About your main responsibilities As a Commercial Due Diligence team member you’ll conduct market research, interview industry participants, meet with company executives, conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, and participate in client discussions. Your main activities will include: Support development of commercial strategies using tools such as market analysis, customer & competitor research, macroeconomic forecasting and portfolio optimization Review and manage deal documents to identify critical commercial issues and risks related to a proposed transaction Work in project teams to deliver high quality output that addresses our client’s most pressing challenges and questions Perform commercial analyses and translate findings into recommendations, being able to present outcomes to C-level executives and investment professionals Contribute to business development by preparing project proposals Your new team | About your colleagues and the office Your team: Within the Strategy department of EY-Parthenon, we focus on developing strategies for growth, digitalization, M&A, and transformation, to help organizations achieve their long-term goals. Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution You have a minimum of 3 years of strategy consulting experience or equivalent with strong track record in commercial due diligence and growth strategy work You hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering or Business Administration with strong academic results and coursework relevant to the position Demonstrated interest in strategy and M&A through internships, extracurricular activities or research on the subject Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical ability to dissect underlying market and company performance drivers Ability to perform detailed commercial assessments of markets, competitors and customers by leveraging secondary and primary research tooling Fluent in Dutch Your benefits | About your perks and work enjoyment A competitive salary that reflects your role and responsibilities, depending on experience and qualifications. Core Responsibilities

Conduct market and company research, interview industry participants and executives, and perform qualitative and quantitative commercial analyses to identify transaction risks and growth opportunities. Develop recommendations, present findings to senior executives and investors, contribute to client project delivery, and support business development by preparing proposals.

Requirements

Candidates need at least three years of strategy consulting experience or equivalent, with a strong track record in commercial due diligence and growth strategy, and a relevant master's degree with strong academic results. They should demonstrate interest in strategy and M&A, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, experience assessing markets, competitors, and customers through research, and fluency in Dutch.
