Junior Data Center Facility Engineer (IDC) Company: TITANICOM TECH LIMITED Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Employment Type: Full-time | On-site Languages: Mandarin Chinese & English Required About the Role TITANICOM is hiring a Junior Data Center Facility Engineer to support daily facility operations and maintenance across international data center projects in the Netherlands. This is a junior-level technical position suitable for candidates with practical experience in data center (IDC) environments who are looking to further develop their expertise in critical infrastructure operations. Candidates must have hands-on data center experience and be able to communicate professionally in both Mandarin Chinese and English. Key Responsibilities Support daily operations, inspections, and preventive maintenance of data center facility infrastructure. Monitor and assist with the operation of electrical, UPS, cooling, HVAC, and other critical facility systems. Respond to facility alarms, incidents, and equipment faults under established operational procedures. Assist with troubleshooting, fault reporting, and incident resolution. Execute operational tasks according to SOP, MOP, and EOP procedures. Support scheduled maintenance, equipment inspections, and infrastructure upgrades. Maintain accurate operational records, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth facility operations. Follow data center safety, security, and operational compliance requirements. Support emergency response activities and on-site incident handling when required. Requirements Practical working experience in a data center (IDC) environment is required. Previous experience in data center facility operations, maintenance, or critical infrastructure support. Basic understanding of electrical systems, UPS, HVAC, cooling systems, or other data center facility infrastructure. Familiarity with data center operational procedures, equipment monitoring, and incident response. Mandarin Chinese proficiency is mandatory. Professional working proficiency in English is required. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and willingness to learn. Ability to work on-site in the Netherlands and support operational incidents when necessary. Preferred Qualifications 1–3 years of relevant data center facility experience. Experience with BMS, EPMS, DCIM, or facility monitoring systems. Familiarity with SOP, MOP, and EOP procedures. Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Automation, or related fields. Previous experience working in international or multicultural teams. Core Responsibilities
