To strengthen our team in Moerdijk we are looking for a stock controller to help maintain the quality that we stand for at Yusen. Your Responsibilities as Stock Controller: Checking the quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing orders and goods General follow-up of warehouse activities (repacking, timely replenishment, etc.) Performing administrative tasks related to inventory management In case of quality issues, you implement corrective measures following a root cause analysis You are responsible for periodically sending out internal and external stock reports, in coordination with the WHS supervisor You inspect storage locations for missing goods and identify potential improvements You perform regular inventory checks You specify item characteristics for new products and carry out periodic ABC analyses You monitor expiration dates of goods and follow up in line with customer requirements You manage stock both physically and systematically via our WMS system You actively participate in the implementation of new customers, offering support and advice Who we are looking for: A motivated colleague to strengthen our team who possesses the following qualities: Experience with warehousing operations, warehouse processes and logistics equipment (forklifts, safety procedures, etc.) Proficient in Excel, MS Office, and MS Access Accurate and detail-oriented Strong affinity with the logistics industry Able to quickly identify patterns and come up with creative solutions Someone who enjoys being on the warehouse floor and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty Fluent in both spoken and written English, if you speak Dutch that's a plus Why Yusen Logistics? Core Responsibilities
Monitor the quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing goods, manage inventory physically and in the WMS, and perform regular stock checks, reporting, and ABC analyses. Follow up on warehouse activities and expiration dates, investigate quality issues and implement corrective measures, and support new customer implementations.
Requirements
Candidates should have experience with warehouse operations, processes, and logistics equipment, along with proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and MS Access. They should be accurate, detail-oriented, solution-focused, comfortable working on the warehouse floor, and fluent in spoken and written English; Dutch is an advantage.
