Gain hands-on experience with Looker, building your skills in developing interactive and insightful visualizations Support LookML Development: Learn and assist in the development and maintenance of our Looker semantic layer, including views and Explores. Contribute to dbt Models: Assist in developing, testing, and deploying data transformation models using dbt to turn raw data into clean, structured data marts. Documentation: Assist in writing clear documentation for data models and transformations. Troubleshoot and Collaborate: Work with the team to investigate data discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and support Data Analysts and business users with their data questions. Learn and Grow: Actively learn our data stack, including dbt, Looker, and Google Cloud Platform, and contribute to the team's success. Work with data engineers, analytics engineers, BI specialists and stakeholders from different business functions to translate data needs into practical solutions. About You You are currently pursuing a degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management or a related technical field. Preferably you have experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI) You have a foundation in SQL and are interested in using it to explore, validate and transform data. You approach problems analytically and are comfortable investigating why data or processes do not behave as expected. You are Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment. You can work independently while also collaborating effectively with technical colleagues and business stakeholders. You can communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing. Work From Home (WFH) Policy: For 40-hour internships, you are allowed to work from home up to 3 days per week, depending on the nature of your role. During onboarding, WFH days may vary to better support your learning and training. Internship Allowance: 450€ per month (gross) with 8+ holiday days (based on 40h/week). Travel Allowance: Max. 11,50€ per day (based on your travel distance), if you are not eligible for the free Student OV Chipcard. Core Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of Looker visualizations and LookML semantic models, and help build, test, and deploy dbt data transformation models. Document data models, investigate data discrepancies, and collaborate with data and business teams to turn stakeholder needs into practical solutions.

Requirements

Applicants must be pursuing a degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related technical field, and be available for a five-month internship starting in February 2027 while remaining enrolled throughout. A foundation in SQL, analytical problem-solving, eagerness to learn, effective collaboration, and clear English communication are expected; experience with visualization tools is preferred.
