Job Description

Contract: 38hrs per week

Lounge is excited to be opening a Lounge shop within de Bijenkorf, Amsterdam and we are looking for a Concession Supervisor who is passionate about customer service and wants to help bring the Lounge experience to one of Amsterdam’s leading retail destinations. You will be Lounge’s dedicated Concession Supervisor Amsterdam, working closely with the wider Lounge retail team and de Bijenkorf colleagues to make sure the shop is always customer ready and brand aligned.

Customer experience is paramount to us as a brand and we are looking for someone with a true passion for exceptional customer service and a love of Lounge. This role is vital in helping maintain the close community we have created online in a real-life environment. You will be responsible for welcoming and supporting customers at the Lounge shop within de Bijenkorf, becoming an expert in Lounge products and delivering an experience that feels unmistakably Lounge. You will also support bra fittings to the highest standard and help ensure the shop looks and feels like Lounge’s home, even within a department store setting. Our community will always be the most important thing to us and we want to make sure they are always given the best experience possible.

What you will do

  • Work closely with the wider Lounge retail team and de Bijenkorf colleagues to look after each customer and support them through the full customer journey.

  • Support customers through the fitting process, becoming confident in Lounge products and delivering accurate, helpful guidance.

  • Be a champion for Lounge’s brand values and represent Lounge confidently within de Bijenkorf.

  • Maintain exceptional standards across the Lounge concession, keeping the space clean, welcoming, organised and always customer ready.

  • Support stock processes in line with Lounge and de Bijenkorf routines, including deliveries, replenishment, stockroom organisation and keeping stock accurate.

  • Accurately handle transactions and returns, following Lounge and de Bijenkorf processes.

  • Share customer feedback, product insights and trading observations with the wider Lounge team so we can keep improving the experience.

What we're looking for

  • Have a true love for lingerie and fashion.

  • Are a Lounge lover and share our company values.

  • Have experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within retail.

  • Are an effective problem solver and comfortable using your initiative.

  • Are an exceptional communicator who can work confidently both independently and as part of a wider team.

Eligibility and Availability

  • You must be legally authorised to work in the Netherlands and fluent in both Dutch and English.

  • You must be able to travel to de Bijenkorf, Amsterdam.

  • Flexible availability, including some evening and weekend working.

  • You must be able to travel to Oberhausen, Germany for initial Lounge training and complete de Bijenkorf’s store approval and induction process.

Core Responsibilities

Welcome and support customers throughout their shopping journey, provide bra-fitting guidance, and represent Lounge’s brand values. Maintain a clean, organised, customer-ready concession; support stock and transaction processes; and share customer feedback and trading observations with the wider team.

Requirements

Applicants should have a genuine interest in lingerie and fashion, share Lounge’s values, and have customer-facing experience, ideally in retail. They must be fluent in Dutch and English, legally authorised to work in the Netherlands, available for some evening and weekend work, able to travel to Amsterdam and Oberhausen for training, and willing to complete the store approval and induction process.

About Lounge
