Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a 2D Designer based in Netherlands.
Join a creative, community-driven digital environment where immersive social experiences, virtual worlds, and user-generated content come together. As a 2D Designer, you will create polished, engaging visuals across storefronts, marketing campaigns, in-app promotions, and virtual environments. Your work will help showcase digital products, strengthen visual storytelling, and enhance the experience of users exploring a vibrant social VR platform. You will design everything from product thumbnails and promotional banners to social media graphics, event signage, and in-world textures. The role requires a versatile creative approach, combining strong visual design skills with an understanding of how graphics perform across different sizes, formats, and interfaces. Working collaboratively with a distributed team, you will respond to feedback, adapt to evolving priorities, and deliver high-quality assets within established brand guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for a resourceful designer who enjoys variety, values attention to detail, and wants to contribute to a growing digital community through impactful visual communication.
\n- Storefront design: Create compelling thumbnails and graphics for digital store listings, ensuring products are visually appealing, easy to understand, and recognizable at small sizes.
- Bundle graphics and visual identity: Design promotional graphics for product bundles, clearly communicating included items while maintaining strong visual appeal. Develop distinct themes for each bundle, including backgrounds, navigation icons, and mobile-friendly variations that remain consistent with the overall storefront identity.
- Marketing and promotional assets: Produce engaging social media posts, announcement graphics, blog headers, and other marketing materials that support campaigns, product updates, and community initiatives.
- Video graphics: Design static visual assets for video content, including title cards, overlays, and end screens, ensuring consistency with established branding and communication objectives.
- Platform-specific creative production: Prepare and export graphics for distribution platforms such as Steam and Meta, adapting each asset to the relevant dimensions, file formats, and technical specifications.
- In-app visual design: Create banners for events and promotions, notification graphics, and other in-app visuals that integrate naturally with the user interface and remain legible at smaller display sizes.
- In-world artwork: Develop signage, posters, textures, and other 2D assets used within virtual worlds, helping create visually engaging and immersive user experiences.
- Brand consistency and creative execution: Work within established visual guidelines while giving individual assets their own distinctive character, ensuring a cohesive yet varied visual identity across different touchpoints.
- Multi-format adaptation: Optimize designs for different screen sizes, layouts, and contexts, including mobile devices, storefronts, social channels, and in-app interfaces.
- Feedback and iteration: Collaborate with stakeholders, incorporate feedback efficiently, and refine designs through quick review cycles while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Asset organization and delivery: Maintain clean, well-organized working files, consistent naming conventions, and properly layered source documents to support efficient collaboration and future updates.
Requirements
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of 2D design work, ideally including marketing graphics, user interface assets, storefront visuals, or digital product promotions.
- Proven experience creating graphics for multiple formats and display sizes, particularly thumbnails, icons, banners, and mobile layouts.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, or comparable creative software.
- A solid understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, composition, color, and branding, with the ability to create polished, high-impact graphics for different audiences and contexts.
- Experience working within an existing brand identity while developing creative variations that give individual campaigns, products, or collections a distinctive look.
- Familiarity with preparing and exporting assets according to platform-specific technical requirements, including file formats, dimensions, and resolution specifications.
- The ability to design for small-scale displays, ensuring that graphics remain clear, legible, and visually effective when viewed within compact interfaces.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to understand creative briefs, respond constructively to feedback, and work through rapid revision cycles.
- Flexibility and adaptability when managing changing priorities, multiple types of creative deliverables, and short turnaround times.
- Excellent file management practices, including organized project folders, consistent naming conventions, and properly layered, editable source files.
- A detail-oriented approach and a commitment to maintaining high visual quality and consistency across all deliverables.
- The ability to work independently in a remote environment while coordinating effectively with a distributed creative team.

About Jobgether
Industry: Internet Marketplace Platforms
Company size: 11-50 employees
Jobgether is a career navigation platform built for senior professionals competing in the remote job market. Hiring systems were designed for volume and keyword matching, not for 15 or 20 years of nonlinear experience. That structural mismatch is why strong profiles get filtered out before a human ever sees them. Our platform diagnoses where a search is breaking, corrects how experience is positioned, and connects professionals to the companies where their background creates real value. The goal is not more applications. It is the right visibility in the right places. Our mission is to ensure no senior professional remains invisible in the global remote market, not because they lack the skills, but because the system failed to read them correctly.
