As a Business Analyst Data Migration Lead, you are responsible for leading the business data migration workstream for Mammoet's Sherpa implementations and roll-outs across the globe. You ensure that business data is migrated accurately, consistently, and on time, enabling successful deployment of new business processes and systems.

You act as the central point of contact between business stakeholders, data owners, subject matter experts, and project teams. From migration strategy and data cleansing to business validation and cutover readiness, you guide the complete migration lifecycle and coordinate the activities of functional teams, data specialists, and business representatives.

Between implementation waves, you contribute to broader data management and business transformation initiatives. This includes improving master data quality, supporting data governance activities, delivering data-related enhancements and features, and helping business functions establish sustainable data ownership and stewardship practices.

This role combines business analysis, stakeholder management, project coordination, and data leadership, making it a critical position within Mammoet's global transformation journey.

Sherpa Data Migration Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end business data migration workstream for Sherpa deployment projects.
• Define migration strategies, planning, milestones, deliverables, and business readiness activities.
• Coordinate data migration teams consisting of business users, data owners, key users, and technical specialists.
• Ensure business ownership and accountability for data quality and migration readiness.
• Facilitate data mapping, cleansing, enrichment, validation, reconciliation, and sign-off activities.
• Manage migration risks, issues, dependencies, and reporting towards project leadership.
• Coordinate mock loads, testing cycles, cutover activities, and hypercare support.
• Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement across deployment waves.

Data Management & Continuous Improvement

• Support the development and execution of Mammoet's data governance strategy.
• Lead initiatives to improve master data quality, consistency, and standardization.
• Work with business process owners to establish clear data ownership structures.
• Support harmonization of data definitions, business rules, and global standards.
• Deliver data-related business improvements, process enhancements, and system features.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual data maintenance and improve data quality controls.
• Create and maintain data standards, business rules, data dictionaries, and governance documentation.

Business Analysis

• Gather and document business requirements for data-related projects and enhancements.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements for development and implementation teams.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across functions and regions.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, integration specialists, and project managers to deliver successful solutions.

Additionally, you bring:

• Several years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Migration, Master Data Management, or ERP implementation projects.
• Proven experience leading data migration workstreams in complex transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of data migration methodologies and tools.
• Experience coordinating business and technical resources across multiple countries and functions.
• Knowledge of master data management, data governance, and data quality principles.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience with Agile and project-based delivery models.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

 

Preferred Experience

• SAP S/4HANA implementations and deployments.
• Global template roll-outs and business transformation programs.
• Master Data Governance (MDG).
• Data migration tools and methodologies.
• Asset Management, Procurement, Finance, Project Systems, and Equipment master data.
• Data quality and governance frameworks.
• Power BI, SQL, or analytical reporting tools.
