The Role As a Field Service Technician, you work independently in the field and are responsible for: Maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of PV systems, batteries, and EV charging points Preventive maintenance and commissioning Customer contact: explanations, solutions, and follow-up Reporting of activities and materials Participation in on-call duties and emergency interventions All work is performed according to NEN 1010 and NEN 3140 standards. What We Offer Permanent contract (indefinite duration) Gross annual salary €42,000 – €52,000, depending on experience and certifications Company van, fuel card, phone, and laptop Full PPE and professional tools Ongoing training and certification support Modern, dynamic work environment with technical support Equal opportunities for all candidates (m/f/x) Job Requirements Your Profile Required: MBO level 3/4 in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Energy Technology Valid NEN 3140 certification At least 4 years of experience with PV systems, batteries, or EV charging points Driving license B Independent, customer-oriented, and physically able (up to 25 kg) Preferred (not required): VCA Basic/VOL, Working at Heights Manufacturer certifications (Huawei, Tesla, Enphase, Sigenergy) Experience with Dutch grid operators Good command of Dutch
Core Responsibilities
Maintain, diagnose, repair, and commission residential PV systems, batteries, and EV charging points, following NEN 1010 and NEN 3140 standards. Communicate with customers, report work and materials, and participate in on-call duties and emergency interventions.
Requirements
Requires MBO level 3 or 4 education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Energy Technology, valid NEN 3140 certification, at least four years of relevant experience, and a category B driving license. Candidates should be independent, customer-oriented, and able to handle physical work; VCA certifications, working-at-heights experience, manufacturer certifications, Dutch grid operator experience, and Dutch language proficiency are preferred.
