Job Description

Own the Architecture: Lead all technical decisions, backend engineering, and system security from day one. Core Protocol Execution: Implement cryptographic token signing (Ed25519) and token verification endpoints (.well-known/jwks.json). Payment Rail Integrations: Maintain and scale API connections to Open Banking (Tink), PEP/sanctions data feeds (Dilisense), and merchant payment pipes (SEPA ISO 20022 payloads, Adyen, Stripe). Drive Live Pilots: Deploy the POS/web checkout integration into initial merchant pilots in Amsterdam and ensure high availability. Build the Engineering Team: Recruit and lead our core developer team following our first institutional financing round.

Core Responsibilities

Requirements
