Role Description As a Chauffeur CE nationale distributie at Van der Linden Hillegom BV, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods to various customer locations across the country. You will drive C- and CE-category trucks, perform loading and unloading activities, and ensure that deliveries are made to precise locations such as conveyor belts, shops, or other agreed delivery points. Daily tasks include checking vehicle condition, following route plans and delivery schedules, handling transport documentation, and maintaining clear communication with dispatch and customers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hillegom, with potential part-time options depending on operational needs. Qualifications Strong skills in operating and maneuvering trucks, including experience with CE-category vehicles and related equipment. Knowledge of transportation and truckload shipping processes, including route planning, loading, unloading, and handling different types of cargo. Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients at delivery locations and represent the company’s identity. Understanding of operations management in a logistics environment, including adherence to schedules, safety procedures, and quality standards. Valid CE driving license with required certifications (e.g., Driver Qualification Card / Code 95 or local equivalent). Familiarity with safety regulations, traffic laws, and best practices for refrigerated, conditioned, and specialized transport. Ability to perform physically active work, such as loading, unloading, and moving goods with care. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently as well as within a dispatch-led team structure.

Core Responsibilities

Safely and punctually transport goods to customer locations nationwide using C- and CE-category trucks, delivering to specified locations. Inspect vehicles, follow routes and schedules, load and unload cargo, manage transport documents, and communicate with dispatch and customers.

Requirements

Applicants need a valid CE driving license and required certifications such as a Driver Qualification Card or Code 95, along with knowledge of safety rules and transport processes. The role also requires truck-handling ability, customer communication, physical capability for cargo handling, and reliability when working independently or with dispatch.
