Your role Our Product & Development team builds and evolves our platform, keeps it competitive and keeps improving how well it fits our focus customer segments. AI is a growing part of how we do that, in the product and in how we work. You lead product areas as the product leader of cross-functional agile teams, working with developers, UX designers, analysts and AI engineers, and you report to our Chief Product Officer. You own the strategy, the roadmap and the outcome, end to end. You drive the investments in your areas and are accountable for the results. You will: set the vision and roadmap for your product areas, based on customer research and market insight; work with operations, sales, finance and customers to find the problems worth solving, and frame them in data so that engineering and data teams can pick them up and measure success; own delivery from idea to daily use: you are accountable for the plan, the scope, the quality and the result, not only the date; apply AI where AI makes sense, set the quality bar for AI output and the systems to monitor it; help shape how Shypple does product management: set standards, share what works and coach your colleagues; What makes Shypple unique? You’ll bring 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, including products taken into production and operated afterwards, ideally with AI-powered features. Fewer years but already working at senior level? We’d like to hear from you!; A track record of owning outcomes, not just shipping features: you can show what your products delivered in adoption, cost savings or revenue; Hands-on fluency with current AI models, agents and tools. You’ve built and tested a prototype yourself, and you can explain to a non-technical audience what AI does well, where it fails and what the risks are; Strong customer discovery and problem framing, and a data-driven way of working; The ability to persuade and align people without formal authority, from team to leadership level; Logistics experience is a plus, not a must; A Bachelor’s degree or higher, and fluent English. Location This is a hybrid role in Rotterdam, with teams in the office 2 to 3 days a week. We’re open to candidates who currently live in the EU and are willing to relocate to the Netherlands and be onsite 2 to 3 days a week. Core Responsibilities

Own product-area strategy, roadmaps, investments, delivery, and outcomes from initial idea through daily use. Lead cross-functional teams, identify and frame customer problems, apply AI where appropriate, monitor AI quality, and help establish product management standards while coaching colleagues.

Requirements

Candidates should have 5 or more years of product management experience, including taking products into production and operating them, and a record of measurable outcomes; fewer years may be considered for candidates already working at a senior level. They should be fluent in current AI models, agents, and tools; strong in customer discovery, data-driven problem framing, and influencing stakeholders; hold a bachelor's degree or higher; and be fluent in English.
