Job Description
Business Developer Regulatory Reporting Location: Amsterdam Zuidoost (hybrid) Hours: 36 hours per week Start date: 1 November 2026 End date: 30 June 2027 (change of extension) Salary: € 6,300 - € 7,200 gross per month based on 36 hours (excluding holiday allowance) Do you want to be the one who knows exactly where every regulatory report stands in testing, and why? For a large Dutch bank, we are looking for a Business Developer for the granular regulatory reporting team. Supervisors such as DNB and the ECB require increasingly granular reporting, which drives the demand for strong data analysis and high-quality reporting. The team delivers reports such as AnaCredit, CRE, RRE, SHS-G, MKB and SFR in AXIOM. Finance & Risk is rolling out a new target architecture to improve governance, data quality and reconciliations across the bank. This requires changes to the AXIOM configuration and data sourcing for granular reporting. AnaCredit went live on the new architecture in November 2025, and CRE and RRE will follow in 2026. In this role, you are the central point of contact for testing. You coordinate business acceptance testing (BAT) and end-to-end (E2E) testing across the reporting chain, and you make sure everyone knows the plan, the status and the next step. What will you do? You will, among other things, be involved in: Acting as the main testing contact and AXIOM reporting expert for the team. Building and maintaining one transparent overview of BAT and E2E timelines: start and end dates, overlaps, dependencies, open questions, test status and ownership of follow-up actions. Investigating ambiguities in the testing process across the reporting chain, then resolving or escalating them. You record the outcome in a clear format the team can reuse. Coordinating and performing functional and data testing in AXIOM: data-driven test scenarios, source-to-report validation, reconciliations, data quality checks, defect analysis and follow-up. Aligning testing activities with business, IT and offshore teams. Assessing the impact of data and sourcing changes on the reports. Delivering AXIOM analysis and configuration changes when testing priorities allow, including impact analysis and stakeholder alignment. Keeping testing and requirements documentation up to date, so that knowledge is shared, work is auditable and the reporting control framework gets stronger. What do you bring? You bring structure to a complex reporting chain and can tell a clear testing story to both business and IT. You are comfortable in a changing environment and you challenge existing assumptions to find pragmatic testing approaches. You also bring: Over 7 years of relevant experience in data analysis and test coordination within a regulatory reporting context. Experience coordinating complex BAT and E2E test trajectories. Hands-on experience with functional and data testing in AXIOM. Strong knowledge of AnaCredit. Strong data testing and analysis skills. You validate completeness, accuracy, consistency, transformations and reconciliations, and you trace root causes across an end-to-end reporting chain. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Nice to have Knowledge of CRE and RRE regulatory reporting. Prior experience at this bank (organisation, processes, systems and tooling). In this assignment, you give a major bank control over the testing of its granular regulatory reports, at the moment these reports move onto a new architecture. You work in a multidisciplinary Agile Scrum team with onshore and offshore colleagues, with plenty of room for initiative and autonomy. Recognise yourself in this? Send your CV and availability to [email protected] and I will get back to you quickly.
Core Responsibilities
Serve as the central testing contact and AXIOM reporting expert, coordinating business acceptance and end-to-end testing across the regulatory reporting chain. Maintain transparent test plans and documentation, perform data and functional testing, investigate defects and data changes, and align business, IT, and offshore stakeholders.
Requirements
More than seven years of relevant experience in data analysis and test coordination for regulatory reporting, including complex business acceptance and end-to-end testing. Hands-on AXIOM testing experience, strong AnaCredit knowledge and data analysis skills, and excellent English communication are required; CRE and RRE knowledge and prior experience at the bank are advantageous.
