We are hiring a German-speaking Accounts Payable Specialist to join FlexiTog’s Finance team in Helmond, NL. FlexiTog specialises in insulated industrial workwear and PPE for people working in cold and demanding environments. Its European business has grown rapidly, bringing together established businesses across the UK, Netherlands and Germany to create a major specialist cold-environment workwear group. As our European operations continue to develop, we’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team in Helmond, NL. You’ll be responsible for keeping the accounts payable engine running smoothly: processing invoices, making sure suppliers are paid accurately and on time, resolving queries and keeping supplier accounts properly reconciled. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Finance, Procurement and Operations, as well as directly with suppliers. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes getting the details right, enjoys solving problems and doesn’t leave a supplier query sitting in an inbox. German language skills are important for this role, as you'll be supporting communication with German-speaking suppliers. Key Responsibilities Process and verify supplier invoices and expenses, including PO matching, coding and payment preparation. Reconcile supplier accounts, resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate AP records. Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice and payment queries. Support month-end/year-end close, reporting and audit requirements. Ensure AP processes follow company policies, financial controls and payment procedures. Identify payment risks and control issues, escalating where appropriate. Drive improvements to AP processes and support wider Finance transformation initiatives. Core Responsibilities

Process and verify supplier invoices and expenses, prepare payments, reconcile supplier accounts, and resolve queries with suppliers and internal teams. Support financial close, reporting, audits, and controls while identifying risks and improving accounts payable processes.

Requirements

Requires professional working German and 3–5 years of experience in accounts payable, finance, bookkeeping, or a similar field. Candidates should have experience with invoice processing, purchase order matching, and supplier reconciliations, along with strong Excel and accounting or ERP system skills and a proactive, accurate, organized approach.
