Then we’re looking for you. At BeExact, our mobile mapping and backpack systems capture large volumes of LiDAR, camera and GNSS/INS data every day. Turning that data into reliable end products takes more than software it takes someone who understands the whole chain. As our Innovation & Processing Lead, you become the technical link between Field Operations, Hardware, Mobile Mapping, Data Processing and the final product. You lead our Data Processing team, you’re the go-to person when something doesn’t add up, and you help shape the next generation of our mapping systems. Problems don’t stay on the shelf with you: you analyse them, solve them and make sure they don’t come back. What you’ll do Lead and coach the Data Processing team, and be their first point of escalation for complex technical issues. Act as the central expert for questions on data quality, processing, trajectories, GNSS/INS, point clouds, and camera and LiDAR data. Investigate issues during and after data acquisition and decide on the best fix – from reprocessing to adjusting the workflow. Test, build and modify mobile mapping and backpack hardware, including sensors, cameras, LiDAR, GNSS/INS and electronics. Support colleagues and operators with technical problems in the field when needed. Translate field experience into structural improvements to our systems, workflows and procedures. Think along about new hardware and software solutions, and share your knowledge so the whole team grows. What you bring Several years of experience in mobile mapping, surveying, geodesy, robotics, autonomous systems, mapping or sensor integration. Experience with complete mobile mapping systems is a big plus. Solid knowledge of several of the following: LiDAR/point clouds, GNSS, INS/IMU, camera and imaging systems, geodata, data-processing workflows, sensor integration and hardware troubleshooting. Comfort working with Linux and/or Windows systems, networks and system communication. Python or similar scripting skills are an advantage. Experience guiding or coaching technical colleagues. Good professional command of both Dutch and English. Requirements

Several years of experience in mobile mapping or a related field such as surveying, geodesy, robotics, autonomous systems, mapping, or sensor integration are required; experience with complete mobile mapping systems is an advantage. Candidates should have solid knowledge of several relevant sensor and processing technologies, be comfortable with operating systems and networks, have experience guiding technical colleagues, and communicate professionally in Dutch and English; scripting skills are an advantage.
