Apply now! Ask question What will you do? Responsibilities As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for the day-to-day IT services within Bayards Group. You will be a key point of contact for users, work independently on technical issues and actively contribute to improvements. You will be involved in a wide range of activities, from workplace management and user support to infrastructure, Microsoft 365 and information security. Your responsibilities include: Independently analysing and resolving first-line and second-line incidents. Managing and optimising workstations, laptops, mobile devices and peripheral equipment. Managing and supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory and Microsoft Intune. Supporting network, server and infrastructure-related issues. Managing user accounts and access rights. Providing technical support for business applications. Implementing technical changes, updates and deployments. Contributing to information security, standardisation and automation initiatives. Creating and maintaining technical documentation and work instructions. Working closely with external IT partners and suppliers. You will do more than just resolve incidents. We expect you to identify opportunities for improvement, take initiative and work independently. You will have the opportunity to implement improvements and contribute to the further development of our IT environment. Who are you? We are looking for an IT professional with a broad technical foundation who takes ownership and is eager to continue developing their skills. You are curious, solution-oriented and enjoy helping colleagues with technical challenges. You take initiative, work independently and are motivated to keep developing yourself. You work in a structured manner, communicate clearly and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. What do you bring? A completed MBO Level 4 or Bachelor's degree in IT, or an equivalent level of education and experience. Experience in IT support, workplace management or system administration is an advantage. Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows, Active Directory and/or Entra ID. Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Autopilot and endpoint management is an advantage. Basic knowledge of networks, servers and information security. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills in both Dutch and English. A proactive and independent working style. Willingness to occasionally travel to other Bayards locations. You do not need to be a specialist in every technical area. What matters most is that you have a solid technical foundation, can investigate issues independently and are motivated to expand your knowledge and skills. Your place within Bayards You will be part of the central IT team of Bayards Group and report directly to the IT Manager. Your primary workplace will be Tholen. From there, you will support colleagues across multiple Bayards locations and business units. Within IT, we are continuously working on further professionalisation, standardisation, automation and information security. You will join a relatively small team where you will have significant responsibility and broad involvement in the IT environment. Core Responsibilities

Implement technical changes and contribute to security, standardisation, automation, documentation, and ongoing improvements to IT services.

Requirements

Applicants should have an MBO Level 4 qualification, a bachelor's degree in IT, or equivalent education and experience, along with a solid technical foundation and experience or knowledge in IT support, Microsoft platforms, and basic infrastructure and security. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, a proactive independent approach, and good Dutch and English communication skills are required; willingness to travel occasionally to other locations is also expected.
