At VDL TIM Hapert, we process components for trucks and forklifts using innovative manufacturing technologies.In this role, you and your colleagues from the Maintenance Team are responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of the entire production line, 24/7.Does this sound interesting to you? Would you like to work in the brand-new, modern factory of VDL TIM in Hapert? Then read on! The Role As a Maintenance Technician, you play a crucial role within our organization. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for keeping our machinery and production equipment operating at peak performance in our state-of-the-art production facility. Your main responsibilities include carrying out maintenance activities and resolving technical malfunctions. Your tasks include: Performing maintenance and repairs on our production line and related machinery. Advising on repair solutions and maintenance improvements. Independently troubleshooting and resolving technical breakdowns. Ensuring a proper handover of information to colleagues. Contributing ideas for process improvements and creative technical solutions. Your Strengths We are looking for someone who has: Willingness to work in a 5-shift rotation system. An MBO Level 3 qualification, preferably in Mechatronics or a related technical field. Knowledge of Siemens PLC systems and robot controls. Good communication skills in English. A stress-resistant attitude and a strong sense of responsibility. A genuine interest in technology and process improvement. Experience as a Maintenance Technician or Field Service Technician (preferred). Core Responsibilities

Maintain and repair the production line, machinery, and related equipment to support continuous operation. Troubleshoot breakdowns independently, advise on repairs and maintenance improvements, hand over information to colleagues, and contribute ideas for process improvements.

Requirements

Candidates should be willing to work a five-shift rotation and have an MBO Level 3 qualification, preferably in Mechatronics or a related technical field. Knowledge of Siemens PLC systems and robot controls, good English communication skills, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility are sought; maintenance or field service experience is preferred.
