At Röhlig Netherlands, approximately 25 people work across two locations in Rotterdam and Hoofddorp.

For our Rotterdam sales team, we are looking for a Key Account Executive to strengthen customer relationships and connect commercial commitments with operational delivery.

 What you will do: 

• Coordinate customer implementation, maintain customer operating procedures and monitor service requirements and KPIs.
• Act as a link between customers, Sales and Operations, including customer reviews, quarterly business reviews and onboarding support.
• Coordinate bookings, monitor confirmations and proactively resolve service issues during implementation and ongoing operations.
• Improve end-to-end workflows, customer data, rates and system configurations, including Realtime 3.0, CargoWise and auto-rating.
• Contribute to forecasting, allocation management and opportunities for efficient use of technology and AI.

What you bring: 

• At least two years of experience in freight forwarding operations.
• Strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset and a proactive approach to customer retention.
• Ability to understand complex customer requirements and improve operational processes and system settings.
• Collaborative working style and confident written and spoken English; Dutch proficiency is required for this Netherlands-based role.
