Job Description

Account Executive – Belgium

You are an ambitious, confident sales professional who is drawn to innovation, progress and fast growth. You are dynamic and disciplined, and you don’t stop until you reach your targets. You work best when you have freedom: you plan your own week, set your own priorities and need little direction to deliver. You enjoy creating opportunities from scratch. Rather than waiting for leads, you pick up the phone, contact new prospects, visit them on site and turn cold conversations into real business. If this sounds like you, continue reading.

About Ynteq

Maintenance managers lose hours every week to spreadsheets, paperwork and manual tracking. That time could go toward preventing the next malfunction instead of documenting the last one. Ynteq gives that time back, which means less downtime, lower operating costs and a smaller carbon footprint for the manufacturers we work with. We’re a fast-growing start-up of around 20 people, doubling in size each year, and one of Europe’s fastest-growing maintenance-tech companies. Our mission is to make industry smarter, cleaner and more efficient.

Ynteq is a maintenance platform (CMMS) built on three principles: easy to use, genuinely smart, and AI-powered. It removes manual work instead of adding to it.

What you will do

As our Account Executive for Belgium, you’ll drive Ynteq’s growth in the Belgian market with a high degree of autonomy. You’ll own your territory and the full sales cycle, build relationships face to face with manufacturers across the country, and turn prospects into long-term customers. You’ll spend most of your week on the road on the way to customers, or prospection, and one day a week at our office in Utrecht with the team.

  • Own the Belgian territory: plan your own pipeline, priorities and client visits

  • Build and manage a recurring pipeline of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), mainly through cold outreach

  • Visit prospects and clients on site, and run demos and sales consultations both in person and online

  • Close deals and drive revenue growth

  • Hand new customers over to the onboarding team

  • Cross-sell and upsell to existing clients

  • Build a network in Belgian industry to generate leads

  • Share market insights with the wider team and work with other teams to drive growth

What you bring

  • At least 2 years in B2B sales, including cold calling, managing the full sales cycle and closing deals

  • Proven sales experience in the Belgian market (must-have)

  • Experience with small- to medium-sized annual contract values (€2–20k)

  • A proven track record in SaaS or a similar industry

  • Confidence in outreach, since 99% of our clients come from cold prospecting

  • Ability to work independently: you organise your own time, stay disciplined without daily supervision and take full ownership of your results

  • Native-level Flemish/Dutch (written and spoken) and proficient English

  • French is a strong plus

  • A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to clients across Belgium, plus one day a week to our Utrecht office

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot a plus)

  • Results-driven, with strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • You do well in a start-up environment

Why you will love working here

  • Own a market and grow your career as we scale, with competitive, performance-based earnings

  • Company car

  • Hybrid and flexible: 1-2 days a week at our Utrecht office, the rest on the road or from home

  • Phone allowance

  • Employee referral incentives of up to €3,000 for a successful referral

  • 23 vacation days to rest and recharge

  • Structured onboarding and mentorship

  • Social events: quarterly parties, team activities and dinners

  • Office perks on your office day: unlimited coffee and beer, and snacks

Ready to own the Belgian market? Apply today and help shape a smarter, more sustainable industry.

Core Responsibilities

Own and grow the Belgian territory by generating leads through cold outreach, managing the sales pipeline, visiting manufacturers, delivering demonstrations, and closing deals. Develop existing customer relationships through onboarding handoffs, cross-selling, and upselling, while sharing market insights with the wider team.

Requirements

Candidates need at least two years of B2B sales experience, a proven record in the Belgian market, and experience managing the full sales cycle and closing deals, preferably in SaaS or a similar industry. They must be fluent in Flemish/Dutch, proficient in English, able to work independently, hold a valid driver’s licence, and be willing to travel across Belgium; French and HubSpot experience are advantages.

Benefits

  • Company Car
  • Flexible Hybrid Work
  • Phone Allowance
  • Employee Referral Incentives
  • 23 Vacation Days
  • Structured Onboarding
  • Mentorship
  • Social Events
