Workforce Housing International (WHI) is a fast-growing provider of high-quality, flexible accommodation solutions for companies across Europe. As we scale, we are looking for a Head of Operations to build our operational foundation and act as a strategic partner to our founder. ABOUT THE ROLE You will design the operational structure WHI runs on as we scale, including the KPI framework and cross-departmental processes. Working closely with the founder, you will challenge ideas, contribute to strategic decisions and take operational ownership when leadership is unavailable. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Process & Structure Design and implement a company-wide KPI framework Oversee processes between finance, project management and account management to ensure smooth handoffs Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks People & Performance Support performance management across departments, measured against agreed KPIs Serve as the central point of accountability for day-to-day operational matters Risk & Compliance Oversee risk and compliance across the business Strategic Partnership Act as a strategic sounding board to the founder Make operational and day-to-day commercial decisions in the founder's absence Lead expansion initiatives, including setting up operations in new markets WHAT YOU BRING Experience working as Head of Operations or directly under an Operations Director Proven ability to build processes and structure from the ground up Strong generalist skills across process design, people management and cross-departmental coordination Proactive and independent, with a strategic mindset Able to work from our Amsterdam office WHAT WE OFFER Close collaboration with the founder and real influence on company direction Full ownership of building the operations function Future inclusion in the company bonus/profit-sharing scheme An international, fast-growing company with an informal team culture WHY JOIN US? Core Responsibilities

Build and lead WHI’s operational structure, including company-wide KPIs and processes connecting finance, project management, and account management. Oversee performance, risk, and compliance; resolve operational issues; support the founder with strategic and commercial decisions; and lead expansion into new markets.

Requirements

Candidates should have experience as a Head of Operations or working directly under an Operations Director, with a track record of building processes and structure from the ground up. They should bring broad skills in process design, people management, and cross-departmental coordination, along with a proactive, independent, strategic approach and the ability to work from the Amsterdam office.
