Job Description

Company Description The Hoxton, Lloyd is set in a historic building in Amsterdam’s Eastern Docklands, bringing together a mix of heritage, design, food and culture. At the heart of the hotel is Breman Brasserie, an all-day restaurant that pays homage to the history of the iconic Lloyd building. Alongside Breman Brasserie, our Food & Beverage team brings our unique meeting and event spaces - The Apartment, the Drawing Room and Barbue - to life, creating memorable experiences for every guest, while working closely with our kitchen team. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on F&B Management Intern to join our team and support our Food & Beverage Director across all areas of the operation. This is an opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run a dynamic F&B department, combining operational experience with administrative responsibilities, creative projects and team collaboration. Job Description What you'll do... Support the Food & Beverage Director with the day-to-day running of Breman Brasserie, our event spaces and kitchen operations. Assist with daily administrative tasks, reporting and other projects across the F&B department. Support the operational teams during busy services, events or when extra hands are needed. Help create, update and implement SOPs to ensure smooth and consistent operations. Assist managers with staff planning, scheduling and monitoring labour costs. Support the planning and coordination of events, working closely with the F&B and Events team. Help manage inventories, stock levels, uniforms and purchasing processes. Assist with creating and updating menus, food and drink bibles, collateral and other F&B materials. Collect and analyse guest feedback from platforms such as Google and TripAdvisor, helping the team turn insights into action. Prepare reports and gather information to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Participate in team briefings, tastings, training sessions and end-of-month inventories. Support F&B projects from start to finish, bringing fresh ideas and helping turn them into reality. Work closely with the restaurant, events and kitchen teams to ensure a seamless guest experience across all F&B outlets. Qualifications What We're Looking For... Individuals. Be yourself - No clones in suits here. A student of Hospitality Management or a similar field, ready to turn theory into practice. Available for a full-time internship starting in January 2027. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a bonus. Highly organised, proactive and able to keep a few plates spinning at once. Curious about what makes a great F&B operation tick, from cost control and team planning to events and guest experience. Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump in wherever the team needs you. A team player who communicates well, takes initiative and leaves their ego at the door. Full of ideas, keen to learn and never afraid to challenge the norm. Passionate about hospitality and all about creating memorable experiences for our guests. Additional Information What’s In It For You... €750 per month, based on a full-time internship. Food on us during your shift. Enjoy a free night at The Hoxton and a meal for two when you first start with us. Excellent discounts across The Hoxton and the global Ennismore family for you and your nearest and dearest. The chance to learn directly from our Food & Beverage Director and gain hands-on experience across restaurant operations, events and kitchen management. Join a creative, international team where your ideas are welcome, your development matters and no two days are quite the same.
