Project Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AxiomSL Regulatory Reporting Expert / Solution Lead to support a leading bank in Amsterdam. The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise in AxiomSL (Adenza) with strong functional knowledge of European banking regulatory reporting, acting as a key interface between Business, Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting and IT stakeholders. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring the ability to engage with senior management, translate complex regulatory and business requirements into technical solutions, and drive the successful implementation, enhancement and optimisation of regulatory reporting processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong ownership, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate independently in a complex banking environment. Responsibilities: AxiomSL Solution Expertise & Delivery Act as the AxiomSL subject matter expert and solution lead, providing technical and functional guidance across regulatory reporting initiatives. Lead the analysis, design, configuration, development and enhancement of AxiomSL regulatory reporting solutions. Translate regulatory and business requirements into functional specifications, technical designs and implementation plans. Provide hands-on expertise in AxiomSL data models, taxonomies, transformation rules, calculations, validations and reporting workflows. Oversee data sourcing, mapping, integration and reconciliation between upstream systems and AxiomSL. Investigate and resolve complex reporting issues, including data quality, calculation discrepancies and regulatory validation failures. Support system upgrades, regulatory changes, testing, deployment and production stabilisation. Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, data quality and operational resilience. Regulatory Reporting Expertise Provide functional and technical expertise across the following regulatory reporting frameworks: Liquidity Reporting Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) Additional Liquidity Monitoring Metrics (ALMM) Prudential & Capital Reporting Common Reporting (COREP) Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) Statistical & Other Regulatory Reporting AnaCredit Deposit Guarantee Schemes (DGS) BDRP Central Electronic System of Payment Information (CESOP) Financial & Risk Reporting IFRS 9, including expected credit loss (ECL) reporting and related data requirements. The candidate should have strong knowledge of European banking regulatory requirements, particularly EBA and ECB reporting standards, and understand the regulatory reporting obligations applicable to banks operating in the Netherlands. Senior Stakeholder Engagement Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting, Operations and IT. Engage confidently with senior business leaders, regulatory reporting owners, technology management and programme stakeholders. Facilitate discussions to understand business priorities, regulatory challenges, technical constraints and solution options. Translate complex technical issues into clear business implications, recommendations and decisions. Lead workshops, solution design discussions and stakeholder reviews. Challenge requirements constructively and recommend pragmatic, sustainable solutions. Provide clear updates on delivery progress, risks, dependencies and key decisions. Build strong relationships across business and technology teams, ensuring alignment between regulatory requirements and technical delivery. Delivery Leadership & Governance Take ownership of AxiomSL-related workstreams from requirements through implementation and production readiness. Coordinate business analysts, developers, testers and other technical specialists. Ensure solutions comply with internal architecture standards, regulatory requirements and data governance principles. Oversee functional testing, system integration testing, UAT and regulatory validation. Support regulatory reporting controls, auditability, data lineage and reconciliation. Proactively identify delivery risks and dependencies, driving timely resolution. Support knowledge transfer, documentation and transition into BAU operations. Mandatory Skills: Enterprise Architect Mandatory Skills Description: 8–12+ years of experience in banking technology, regulatory reporting or related transformation programmes. 5+ years of hands-on AxiomSL experience, ideally within European banking environments. Proven experience delivering complex AxiomSL implementations, enhancements or regulatory reporting transformation initiatives. Strong functional understanding of European banking regulatory reporting, particularly liquidity and prudential reporting. Experience working with multiple regulatory reporting frameworks, including LCR, NSFR, ALMM, COREP and AnaCredit. Strong knowledge of AxiomSL architecture, data processing, regulatory calculations, validation rules and reporting workflows. Experience with regulatory data sourcing, mapping, transformation, reconciliation and data quality controls. Ability to analyse complex reporting issues and recommend practical technical and functional solutions. Demonstrated experience engaging with senior business and IT stakeholders, including the ability to influence decisions and manage competing priorities. Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to work independently, take ownership and drive delivery in complex banking environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Professional proficiency in English. Nice-to-Have Skills Description: Experience in AI solution/technology Speak Dutch Experience with AxiomSL RegCloud and/or custom-built AxiomSL implementations.

Core Responsibilities

Lead the design, configuration, implementation, enhancement, and optimisation of AxiomSL regulatory reporting solutions, including data sourcing, mapping, reconciliation, testing, and issue resolution. Own AxiomSL workstreams, coordinate delivery teams, and advise senior business and technology stakeholders while ensuring regulatory compliance, data governance, and production readiness.

Requirements

Requires 8–12+ years of relevant banking technology or regulatory reporting experience, including at least five years of hands-on AxiomSL experience and strong knowledge of European regulatory frameworks such as LCR, NSFR, ALMM, COREP, and AnaCredit. Candidates should have delivered complex reporting solutions, understand AxiomSL architecture and data controls, and demonstrate strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and independent delivery skills.
