Your Responsibilities as Facility Officer: Negotiate with suppliers and internal customers. Monitoring and optimizing costs. Drawing up budgets. Collaborate with the internal stakeholders to optimize operational efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce costs. Assist and implement facility operating policies and procedures. Monitor and maintain inventory of facility supplies and equipment. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for maintenance and other services. Assist in office relocations or renovations as needed. Monitor energy consumption and recommend improvements to reduce waste. Respond on facility-related requests and inquiries from internal teams and external vendors.Accompany/supervise subcontractors during their maintenance interventions to ensure quality and efficiency of work in collaboration with Operations. Your Profile as Facility Officer: You are strong in planning and organizing projects and can easily maintain an overview. You are resilient under pressure and can adapt quickly to changing priorities. You are highly organized in managing administration and have a strong eye for detail. You embrace change and take the initiative to optimize processes and ways of working. You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications. In addition to Dutch, you are fluent in English. Core Responsibilities
Negotiate with suppliers and internal customers, monitor costs, prepare budgets, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Support facility policies and inventory, manage vendors and maintenance contracts, coordinate relocations or renovations, monitor energy use, and supervise subcontractors during maintenance work.
Requirements
The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at planning projects while maintaining an overview. They should be resilient and adaptable, take initiative to improve processes, be proficient in Microsoft Office, fluent in Dutch and English, and willing to travel between sites in the Netherlands.
