Job Description

If you are enthusiastic about driving positive change and eager to shape the future of technology in a dynamic, international environment, we invite you to join our Quality & Industrialization team. About About the role We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer for complex integrated mechatronic systems used in the semiconductor industry. Our systems combine technologies such as precision mechanics, optics and sensing, motors and drives, high-accuracy positioning, electronics, software and control. Their performance depends not only on individual components, but on how these technologies interact and how reliably the complete system can be manufactured, assembled and tested. As Quality Engineer, you contribute across the complete product lifecycle: from development and NPI through industrialization and series production to customer use and end-of-life. An important part of the role is to represent Quality in establishing and scaling the manufacturing environment for integrated mechatronic systems towards higher production volumes. You work with Development, Industrialization and Operations to ensure that product and process risks, manufacturing controls, qualification, inspection and test strategies are built into the factory setup from the start. Responsibilities During NPI, you help translate customer and system requirements into quality risks and controls, challenge product and process design, and ensure quality is designed into the system. During production and lifecycle management, you use quality and manufacturing data to identify problems, lead root-cause analysis and structural improvements, and ensure lessons from production and customers are fed back into development. Other responsibilities are: Represent Quality throughout NPI, industrialization, factory setup, series production and lifecycle management. Support the development of a scalable and robust manufacturing environment for higher-volume production of integrated mechatronic systems. Translate customer and system requirements into quality risks, verification requirements and manufacturing controls. Challenge product and process designs, including risks at interfaces between technical disciplines. Support manufacturing readiness, process qualification, inspection and test strategies, and production-release decisions. Analyse production and field-quality performance and drive structural improvements. Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions and verify their effectiveness. Lead customer quality discussions, complaints and escalations. Support supplier-quality activities for critical components and processes. What We Offer Performance-based salary growth that rewards your results 33 vacation days per year, including public holidays Flexible working hours Time-for-time compensation when working extra hours Strong focus on personal development, supported by a tailored growth and learning plan Extensive career opportunities, with progression across a wide range of functions and projects A young, entrepreneurial, and innovative company culture where initiative is encouraged Free access to the company gym Free lunch, dinner and healthy snacks available every day on-site What You Bring BSc, BEng or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Physics, Industrial Engineering or similar. 5+ years relevant engineering/quality experience in complex high-tech products or manufacturing. Experience with multidisciplinary systems involving areas such as precision mechanics, optics, motion/control, electronics, software, vacuum or high-accuracy measurement. Experience with development/NPI, industrialization and manufacturing quality. Strong analytical and technical problem-solving ability, particularly across subsystem interfaces. Comfortable working with engineering teams, manufacturing and customers. Experience with methods such as 8D, FMEA, 5-Why, Ishikawa, Control Plans and statistical/data analysis. Able to challenge and influence multidisciplinary teams constructively.

Core Responsibilities

Represent Quality across product development, NPI, industrialization, factory setup, series production, and lifecycle management, helping establish scalable manufacturing controls and qualification, inspection, and test strategies. Analyze production and field-quality data, lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions, address customer complaints and escalations, and drive structural improvements with engineering, operations, and suppliers.

Requirements

Requires a BSc, BEng, or MSc in a relevant engineering or applied science discipline and at least five years of relevant engineering or quality experience with complex high-tech products or manufacturing. Candidates should have multidisciplinary systems and NPI/industrialization experience, strong analytical problem-solving skills, familiarity with quality methods such as 8D, FMEA, 5-Why, Ishikawa, and Control Plans, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
