As a Fund Accountant, you’ll take ownership of fund accounting and reporting, helping ensure our financial information is accurate and delivered on time. You’ll work with colleagues across Marktlink Capital and have room to improve the processes behind our growing platform. This position offers the chance to manage your own portfolio of funds. What You’ll Do Prepare and review financial statements, cash flow statements and periodic fund reports. Maintain and review fund accounting records, including accruals, interest calculations, investment transactions and reconciliations, in line with Dutch GAAP and, where applicable, IFRS. Prepare and review capital calls and distributions, and support NAV calculations. Coordinate CIT and VAT filings, prepare audit files and support statutory audits. Follow up on accounting and fund-related requests from colleagues and external parties. Identify ways to make accounting and reporting processes more reliable and efficient. What You Bring A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or a related field. Around 3–5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in fund accounting or financial services. A good understanding of Dutch GAAP, fund administration and NAV processes. Knowledge of IFRS or an ACCA qualification is a plus. Strong Excel skills; experience with fund accounting software such as FIS/Investran is a plus. An eye for detail and the ability to manage deadlines while working collaboratively. Clear communication skills and fluency in English. Why Marktlink Capital? A competitive salary and annual bonus. Core Responsibilities

Prepare and review fund financial statements, reports, accounting records, capital calls, distributions, and NAV calculations in accordance with Dutch GAAP and, where applicable, IFRS. Coordinate tax filings and audit support, respond to fund-related requests, and improve the reliability and efficiency of accounting and reporting processes.

Requirements

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field is required, along with around 3–5 or more years of relevant experience, preferably in fund accounting or financial services. Candidates should understand Dutch GAAP, fund administration, and NAV processes, have strong Excel skills, communicate clearly in English, and manage deadlines collaboratively; IFRS, ACCA, and FIS/Investran experience are advantages.
