Role Description In this HBO/WO Meewerkstage Finance | Financiële Administratie & Business Control role, you support the finance team with daily administrative and control activities. You assist with processing and verifying financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to monthly and quarterly closing activities. You help prepare reports and analyses for business control, such as budget monitoring, cost analysis, and variance reporting, and contribute to improving financial processes and data quality. You collaborate closely with colleagues in finance and other departments, proactively communicate findings, and help translate financial insights into practical recommendations. This is a full-time hybrid internship based in Haarlem, with the possibility to perform part of the work from home. Qualifications Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with the ability to apply theory to practical, day-to-day financial administration. Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, perform variance analyses, and support business control activities. Effective Communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, explain financial insights clearly, and document findings accurately. Ability to contribute to Financial Planning tasks, such as budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance. Currently enrolled in an HBO or WO program in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Proficient with Excel and familiar with financial or ERP systems; affinity with data and process optimization is an advantage. Structured, detail-oriented work style with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a care-sector environment. Interest in or motivation to work in healthcare and elderly care; proficiency in Dutch is highly beneficial for day-to-day collaboration.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an HBO or WO program in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong foundation in finance and accounting. Applicants should be analytical, communicative, structured, detail-oriented, proactive, proficient in Excel, familiar with financial or ERP systems, and motivated to work in healthcare; Dutch proficiency is highly beneficial.
