Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Payments & Finance based in Netherlands.
Join a fast-growing technology environment building scalable API-first infrastructure for the global travel industry. In this role, you will own the Payments & Finance product domain, shaping the systems that manage credit, financial exposure, risk, and complex payment flows. You will take end-to-end responsibility for product strategy, business outcomes, financial performance, and prioritization. Working closely with Engineering, Finance, and Risk teams, you will transform complex financial processes into reliable, scalable, and automated solutions. You will have the autonomy to test ideas quickly, make impactful decisions, and deliver measurable results in a low-bureaucracy environment. As the product organization evolves, you will help establish its foundations and support ambitious growth targets. This is an opportunity to solve challenging fintech problems, influence a global platform, and share in the company's long-term success through meaningful equity.
\n- Own the Payments & Finance product domain end to end, defining the product vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities, and success metrics in alignment with business objectives.
- Manage the product systems supporting credit lines, financial exposure, risk management, and payment requirements across the accommodation business.
- Develop scalable solutions that balance financial risk, commercial opportunities, customer needs, and sustainable business growth.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering to design, test, and deliver technically complex financial products, ensuring reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Finance and Risk teams to understand financial processes, establish appropriate controls, and translate business requirements into effective product solutions.
- Simplify complex payment flows, including virtual cards, client-specific charging rules, payment timing, and other partner-specific requirements.
- Improve financial ledgers, workflows, and payment operations through automation, robust systems, and continuous optimization.
- Define and monitor product performance indicators, financial outcomes, and business impact, using data and experimentation to guide decisions.
- Make informed trade-offs between speed, scalability, financial exposure, and customer experience while maintaining accountability for results.
- Contribute to building and maturing the product organization, establishing effective product practices and supporting the company's next phase of growth.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Product Manager or in a comparable product leadership role, with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a product, business domain, or complex initiative and measurable results.
- Strong experience in fintech, payments, credit, financial infrastructure, or related domains, with a solid understanding of payment flows, credit management, financial exposure, ledgers, and risk.
- Proven ability to translate complex financial and operational processes into clear product strategies, requirements, and scalable technical solutions.
- Experience collaborating closely with Engineering teams on technically demanding products, with the ability to engage in architectural discussions and make informed product trade-offs.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, including the ability to assess financial implications, evaluate opportunities, manage risk, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Risk, Engineering, and other stakeholders to align priorities and deliver business outcomes.
- A proactive, hands-on mindset and the confidence to make decisions, run experiments, and take ownership in fast-paced environments with limited processes and ambiguous requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and explain complex topics clearly.
- A strong sense of accountability, adaptability, and resilience, combined with the willingness to investigate underlying business mechanics and take responsibility for results.
- Experience in travel technology is welcome but not required; relevant fintech, payments, or credit expertise is considered more important.
- Professional fluency in English and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed, international teams.
Benefits

About Jobgether
Industry: Internet Marketplace Platforms
Company size: 11-50 employees
Jobgether is a career navigation platform built for senior professionals competing in the remote job market. Hiring systems were designed for volume and keyword matching, not for 15 or 20 years of nonlinear experience. That structural mismatch is why strong profiles get filtered out before a human ever sees them. Our platform diagnoses where a search is breaking, corrects how experience is positioned, and connects professionals to the companies where their background creates real value. The goal is not more applications. It is the right visibility in the right places. Our mission is to ensure no senior professional remains invisible in the global remote market, not because they lack the skills, but because the system failed to read them correctly.
