Job Description

About Peddler

Peddler is building the next generation of urban delivery.

We operate a fast-growing, fully electric last-mile logistics network built for modern cities and modern commerce. As traditional delivery models come under pressure from rising costs, stricter city regulations, and growing demand for speed and flexibility, we are building the infrastructure that retailers, brands, and e-commerce platforms need.

From our urban hubs, we help leading retail chains, globally recognised brands, and high-growth commercial partners move goods through cities faster, cleaner, and more efficiently. We combine urban hubs, electric fleets, and technology-driven logistics to move goods through cities faster, cleaner, and more efficiently.

Joining Peddler means joining a company with real growth ambitions in a market that is ripe for disruption. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of urban logistics, not just work around the edges of it.

Why We Need You:

Riders form the beating heart of our operation and company. Without riders, Peddler cannot be active and successful. We are currently expanding to multiple cities and need to provide our large and motivated group of cyclists with working shifts in each of these locations. As a Planner, you will help us achieve this!

Your Role:

This role involves coordinating and organising the schedules for Couriers in various cities. You'll use forecasts that will be provided by our Operations team to plan when and where riders are needed, and adjust schedules if some riders are unavailable. You'll also communicate with HR regarding your needs, the riders’ attendance and other HR-related matters. Additionally, you'll stay in close contact with the Rider Controller, providing updates on the status of the riders and ensuring that there are enough riders to meet daily delivery targets. Furthermore, when challenges arise, you'll collaborate with the recruitment team to meet scheduling requirements. Overall, your responsibilities include weekly scheduling and daily management to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations - so this role is pretty communicative.

Your Profile:

  • Fluent in English and conversational level in Dutch.

  • MBO or similar education.

  • Ideally, you have some experiences in shift planning or an industry that is connected to it. However, it's not a must if you bring the following skills.

  • You’re capable or curious about Excel work (so you learn fast).

  • You are see the work that needs to be done, are service-oriented and have fun dealing with people.

  • You are an attentive person and creative in finding solutions for every issue the people might have.

  • “Organisational talent” is your second name & you like to communicate with people.

  • You don't stop until you reach your goals, and we're the backstage crew ensuring your work-life dance is a comedy, not a drama! ;)

  • You are available for 32 to 40 hours/ week.

Why work at Peddler?

  • A fun and supportive startup environment with a passionate and dedicated team committed to sustainable delivery solutions.

  • You will get to work closely with all seniority levels, gaining insights into the business and its growth while contributing directly where you see your input making a difference.

  • You support European retail with our green marketplace and transform sustainable city delivery - you can be part of it!

  • We rely on our people to use their capabilities to achieve great successes: you get the freedom and diverse fields of responsibility you need.

  • Your growth is our top priority - act and feel like a business owner and grow with us!

About Peddler

Industry: Retail

Company size: 51-200 employees

Built for the city. Designed for scale. The city network already closest to demand. Peddler started with a simple idea: helping local commerce move online. Over time, that mission evolved with the needs of the market. In 2026, it continues in a new form, sustainable city logistics that brings retailers and brands closer to their customers through faster delivery, smarter local infrastructure and lower impact in the cities we serve. Why we built it: Growth versus congestion. Consumers are demanding better reliability and service, but not at any cost. Personalised same-day delivery is hugely expensive to run, so instead we built an e-commerce-focused same-day service: proximity to demand as the moat, designed for scale rather than for a premium few. How it works: Urban delivery is changing. Low-emission zones, rising customer expectations and dense parcel flows demand a different network. Peddler combines city hubs, cargo-bike fleets, routing technology and live operational control to move parcels far more efficiently through urban areas, reaching your customer greener, faster and more reliably. Join us at Peddler and be part of the movement to shape the future of sustainable last mile delivery.
