About the role:
As the Facilities Coordinator, you are the face and pulse of one of our client’s office within the financial sector. You own the daily operational rhythm, ensuring the environment is stable, professional, and welcoming. This role demands a high level of reliability and composure, as you will balance building operations with a front-of-house presence. You are the primary point of contact for stakeholders acting as a steward of both CBRE’s values and the client’s workplace culture and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operational Stewardship: Own the daily maintenance and service flow of the facility. You coordinate between suppliers and technicians to resolve issues quickly, acting as a calm, resourceful problem-solver.
· Front-of-House Excellence: Serve as a representative of the company, managing reception duties with a professional and approachable demeanor. You handle high-traffic communication with poise, whether managing mail, couriers, or executive requests.
· Process & Quality Oversight: Maintain site compliance and safety standards. You don’t just follow processes; you identify opportunities for improvement and take proactive steps to implement them.
· Relationship Management: Build trust-based relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. You remain steady under pressure and communicate complex operational updates clearly and professionally.
· Dynamic Support: Manage a varied schedule that requires high multitasking proficiency. You are as comfortable inspecting technical assets in the server room as you are managing a front-desk visitor experience.
About You You are a resilient, adaptable professional who prioritizes reliability in every interaction. You thrive when managing multiple priorities, maintaining a calm and solution-oriented attitude even when the environment is fast-paced. You take ownership of your tasks and are resourceful when faced with ambiguity.
Core Qualifications
· Reliability & Resourcefulness: A proven history of taking ownership of daily tasks and seeing them through to resolution without needing constant supervision.
· Communication & Presence: High level of professional maturity with the ability to represent CBRE and the client effectively to diverse audiences.
· Multitasking Resilience: Experience working in roles that demand frequent context-switching—balancing administrative accuracy with interpersonal reception duties.
· Proactive Mindset: An innate drive to identify operational gaps before they become issues.
· Operational Aptitude: Experience in facilities, office coordination, office manager or administration is preferred. You have the curiosity to learn the technical nuances of building assets (server rooms, electrical systems).
· Language & Tech: Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken/written); proficient in Microsoft Office.
