About the Role LatentBridge is seeking a Data Analyst (Snowflake / SQL) for a remote position focused on data analysis, profiling, lineage validation, reporting, and regulatory data initiatives. You will work with large datasets across source systems, data warehouses, transformation layers, and reporting platforms. The role involves validating source-to-target mappings, tracing data lineage, investigating data quality issues, and supporting the onboarding and maintenance of regulatory reports. You will also work closely with business and technical teams to understand reporting requirements, document findings, and help resolve data-related issues. Key Responsibilities Analyze data across source systems, transformation layers, data warehouses, and reporting platforms using advanced SQL. Perform data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and exploratory analysis to assess data structures, relationships, completeness, and quality. Review and validate source-to-target mappings to ensure data is mapped correctly throughout the data flow. Validate report-to-source lineage, tracing data from original systems through transformations to final reports. Trace data elements across systems to support impact analysis, issue investigation, and regulatory reporting. Support the onboarding of new regulatory reports by analyzing data requirements, source systems, mappings, transformations, and reporting logic. Review existing reports and data flows to identify lineage gaps, inconsistencies, and undocumented transformations. Assess data quality and investigate issues involving completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and validity. Conduct root cause analysis and work with business and technology teams to identify appropriate remediation. Develop SQL queries and analytical outputs for data investigations, reporting requirements, and governance activities. Create and maintain analytical metrics, operational reports, and dashboards to communicate data quality and reporting outcomes. Support audit, risk, compliance, and regulatory reporting activities, including data validation and evidence preparation. Interpret business requirements, reporting specifications, and business requirements documents (BRDs), translating them into actionable data and analytical requirements. Collaborate with Data Analysts, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Governance teams, Report Owners, and other business stakeholders. Document data findings, mappings, lineage, business rules, analytical logic, and issue-resolution outcomes. Contribute to improvements in data analysis, reporting, and data quality processes. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on SQL skills, including complex joins, subqueries, common table expressions (CTEs), aggregations, window functions, and data validation queries. Experience working with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse. Strong experience in data analysis and data profiling. Understanding of data lineage, data flows, source-to-target mappings, and data transformations. Experience investigating data quality issues and performing root cause analysis. Ability to analyze large datasets and identify patterns, anomalies, inconsistencies, and data gaps. Experience interpreting business and technical requirements, BRDs, reporting specifications, and data requirements. Understanding of reporting and data processes in enterprise environments. Strong documentation and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business users, data owners, and reporting stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting regulatory reporting, risk, compliance, or audit-related data activities. Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and reporting tools. Familiarity with regulatory reporting datasets and controls. Exposure to data governance, metadata management, or data catalog platforms. Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or other highly regulated industries. Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and modern cloud data architectures. Requirements

Candidates should be able to interpret business and technical requirements, document findings clearly, and collaborate with stakeholders; regulatory reporting, BI tools, and financial-services experience are preferred.
