Team members are encouraged to contribute to safe, timely, and high-quality transport operations. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CE Truck Driver role based in Gemert. The CE Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating trucks for regional and international road transport, ensuring timely collection and delivery of goods. Daily tasks include vehicle inspection, loading and unloading cargo, securing freight, and completing necessary transport documentation. The role involves adherence to all applicable road safety and transport regulations while maintaining clear communication with dispatchers and warehouse staff. Drivers are expected to represent Optima Global BV professionally with customers and partners and support efficient use of vehicles and routes. Qualifications Valid CE (CDL Class A equivalent) license and proven Truck Driving experience Experience with Unloading and safe handling of cargo Knowledge of DOT Regulations or comparable European road transport regulations Familiarity with truck inspection, basic vehicle maintenance, and safe operation of Truck equipment Clean driving record and strong focus on safety Ability to follow schedules, work independently, and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers Basic proficiency in relevant local languages is an advantage Previous experience in international or European road transport is beneficial

Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid CE license, have proven truck-driving experience, and demonstrate safe cargo handling and a strong safety focus. They should understand applicable road transport regulations, be able to inspect and maintain vehicles, work independently to schedules, and communicate clearly; international transport experience and local-language proficiency are advantageous.
