Job Description

Passionate about developing cutting-edge embedded software? Join our Precision Solutions business line and help deliver innovative motion control, imaging, and integrated system solutions for leading customers in the Medical, Semiconductor, and Automotive sectors. You'll thrive at the intersection of software, electronics, and mechanics, turning complex challenges into high-tech precision solutions. About About the role This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy broad responsibilities, technical ownership, and making a visible impact on complex high-tech systems. Working closely with system architects and multidisciplinary project teams, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating software solutions based on system requirements and architectural specifications. You will typically work in small, focused, and multi-disciplinary project teams. This setup provides short communication lines, broad responsibilities, and significant ownership, allowing you to influence technical decisions and see the direct impact of your work on the final product. You will operate in a challenging, high-tech environment where software, electronics, and mechanics come together to create innovative products and systems. Projects range from high-end motion control and advanced camera systems to complex integrated solutions where precision, performance, and reliability are key. Depending on the project, you will contribute to systems that combine embedded software, electronics, mechanics, and physics to solve demanding technological challenges. Responsibilities Key responsibilities Design, implement, and validate embedded software solutions based on system requirements and architecture Work on system-level solutions involving both hardware and software integration Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and technical standards Take end-to-end ownership of software features and subsystems, from requirements analysis through implementation and validation What We Offer Performance-based salary growth that rewards your results 33 vacation days per year, including public holidays Flexible working hours Time-for-time compensation when working extra hours Strong focus on personal development, supported by a tailored growth and learning plan Extensive career opportunities, with progression across a wide range of functions and projects A young, entrepreneurial, and innovative company culture where initiative is encouraged Free access to the company gym Free lunch, dinner and healthy snacks available every day on-site What You Bring Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field 4+ years of experience in embedded software Experience with embedded software development in complex technical environments Strong programming skills in C++ Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership, taking responsibility for both technical solutions and project outcomes Enjoying building complex systems rather than standalone software applications Able to collaborate effectively across disciplines while taking ownership of your deliverables

Core Responsibilities

About Prodrive Technologies

Industry: Electrical Equipment Manufacturing

Company size: 1,001-5,000 employees

Prodrive Technologies is a Dutch high-tech company headquartered in Son, the Netherlands. Since 1993, we have been designing and manufacturing advanced electronics, software and mechatronic systems that are used worldwide in sectors such as healthcare, semiconductors, infrastructure & energy, mobility and industry. We combine engineering and manufacturing within one integrated organization. From concept and system architecture to testing, industrialization and life cycle management, teams work across the full development and production process. This enables us to translate technical innovation into scalable and manufacturable solutions while maintaining a strong focus on quality, reliability and continuous improvement. Our technologies are used in environments where performance and reliability are essential. Examples include systems used in semiconductor manufacturing processes, components and subsystems for medical imaging equipment such as MRI systems and charging solutions for electric mobility. By developing and producing key technologies largely within our own facilities, we maintain a high level of control over process, quality and innovation. This integrated approach enables us to support customers throughout the entire product life cycle and contribute to solutions that address some of today's most important technological challenges. Our mission: creating meaningful technologies that make the world work.
