Role Description The Experienced Pilates Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based at Ayusya Medical Spa & Clinic in 't Gooi. The instructor will lead individual and group 2-hour Pilates sessions, tailoring programs to meet clients’ abilities, goals, and any health considerations. Day-to-day activities include assessing client needs, demonstrating proper technique, ensuring safe execution of exercises, and tracking client progress. The role also involves collaborating with other wellness and medical professionals, maintaining a welcoming studio environment, and providing excellent client communication and support. Qualifications Strong skills in Pilates Instruction, with the ability to design and lead effective, safe sessions for diverse client populations. Experience with Group Exercise formats, including managing class flow, energy, and individual attention within group settings. Familiarity with Physical Therapy principles or body mechanics to support clients with varying fitness levels or minor limitations. Demonstrated Teaching and Customer Service skills, including clear instruction, empathy, and professional client interaction. Relevant Pilates certification from a recognized training program (i.e. BASI); additional fitness or rehabilitation certifications are an asset. Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary wellness environment and communicate effectively with colleagues. Comfort working in an on-site clinical and spa setting, with attention to cleanliness, professionalism, and client confidentiality. Proficiency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.

Requirements

Requires strong Pilates instruction and group exercise experience, teaching and customer service skills, and familiarity with physical therapy principles or body mechanics. A recognized Pilates certification is required; additional fitness or rehabilitation certifications are an asset, and English proficiency is required while Dutch is a plus.
