INTERN DESIGN & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT Start date: ASAP We are looking for an Intern to join our Studio team in Amsterdam. As an intern, you will work closely with the Design and Product Development teams, supporting the development of our men’s and women’s collections across different seasons and product categories. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience throughout the process, from initial design concepts to final product development. You will be: Supporting the Design and Product Development teams throughout the collection development process. Assisting with fabric selection, wash methods, trims, colourways and garment details. Conducting trend research and gathering inspiration to support the development of new styles and silhouettes. Creating and updating design sketches, technical drawings and product documentation. Supporting sample reviews, fittings and follow-up on product adjustments. Assisting with sample tracking and development timelines. Helping ensure that products meet OLAF’s design vision, quality standards and commercial requirements. Contributing to the overall organisation and smooth operation of the OLAF Studio. You: Are familiar with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus. Are proficient in making tech packs. Are currently studying Fashion Design, Fashion & Product Development or a related field. Have a strong interest in both the creative and technical aspects of fashion. Have a good understanding of garment construction, fabrics and fit, or are eager to develop this knowledge. Have a good eye for detail, colour, materials and current fashion trends. Are organised, proactive and comfortable working on multiple tasks. Are a team player with a hands-on mentality and a willingness to learn. Have a strong interest in the OLAF brand, its aesthetic and its customer. Are proficient in English and enjoy working in a fast-paced, growing fashion brand. Core Responsibilities

Support the Design and Product Development teams in developing men’s and women’s collections, including researching trends and assisting with fabrics, washes, trims, colors, sketches, technical drawings, and product documentation. Help review and track samples, support fittings and product adjustments, monitor development timelines, and contribute to the studio’s organization while ensuring products meet design, quality, and commercial standards.

Requirements

Applicants should be studying Fashion Design, Fashion and Product Development, or a related field, and be proficient in creating tech packs, with familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. They should have an interest in fashion’s creative and technical aspects, attention to detail, organization, a proactive and collaborative approach, an interest in the OLAF brand, English proficiency, and the ability to commute daily to the Amsterdam office.
