Job Description

DISCOVER THIS WAY Exploring the world doesn’t have to stop when the working day starts. At Renaissance Hotels we know your passion for discovery is more than a hobby, it’s a career. We are looking for a People & Culture Intern to join our amazing team as of February/March 2027. This internship is designed for university students currently enrolled in a program that includes a mandatory internship component. How you will make an impact every day... Your morning starts with a coffee in hand, gathering with the People & Culture team to connect, align priorities and get ready for whatever the day will bring. This moment sets the tone, giving you clarity and focus. No two days here are ever the same and that’s the exciting part! Your natural curiosity and eagerness to learn serves you well as you support the HR team throughout this journey. You bring structure where it is needed, ensuring every new employee is correctly registered and personnel files are accurately maintained and securely stored. You take pride in keeping everything organized, no detail missed, no document misplaced. At the same time, you bring energy and creativity to the table by helping shape the vibrant culture that makes this hotel a community. From coordinating engaging team events to crafting materials that inspire connection and celebration, your contribution will help make every moment meaningful. As a trusted point of contact for our ambassadors, you are approachable and supportive. You answer questions and provide guidance to ensure their experience is smooth and positive. In short, you will be: Supporting the People & Culture team in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. We promise it never gets boring! Keeping things beautifully organized: from employee files to system registrations, you have got the details covered. Helping to plan events, surprises and team moments that make people smile. Being a friendly point of contact for our ambassadors: answering questions, giving guidance and making their day smoother. Helping to organize and coordinate trainings that empower our ambassadors to grow, learn and thrive in their roles. Sharing your ideas and creativity in ongoing People & Culture projects (we love a fresh perspective!) Turning theory into actions as you explore People & Culture and grow into the pro you are meant to be. During this internship you will join the hotel that is constantly evolving and will become a part of the People & Culture team that is anything but ordinary: fearless, fun and all about lifting each other up. What are we looking for? We are looking for someone who takes initiative, spots opportunities and takes ownership of their responsibilities. You are a people person at heart, comfortable connecting with others and building positive relationships with colleagues and ambassadors alike. You bring positive, can-do energy into the workplace. Change does not through you off, it energizes you! Above all, you are naturally curious, eager to learn, ask questions and continuously grow both personally and professionally. You can communicate fluently in English and preferably Dutch. You are a current university student with a program that requires an internship. What do you get in return? The Renaissance Amsterdam hotel is part of Marriott International and offers a competitive salary and a wide package of benefits. In addition we offer you… An internship allowance of € 1.000,- per month. A professional and stimulating environment to work in. Special Associate Rate discounts are available for Marriott properties worldwide, as well as exclusive rates through Archer Hotel Management portfolio. A TakeCare program, which means you can participate in our fun workshops, trainings and charitable work, and much more! An international and fun team! Career possibilities within Marriott International. As part of our culture we celebrate recognition and organize many social activities, such as our Associates Appreciation Week, yearly Staff party and Team outing. Curious to join a team where sustainability and hospitality go hand-in-hand? Apply now and be part of something special.
