At Hard Rock, you will be considered an all-around culinary employee and will learn the following positions: Dishwasher Prep Cook Line Cook Receiver Inside/ Outside Expo Basic Functions In The Heart-of-the-House Include Receiving and ordering product Making prep recipes and menu products to spec Properly labeling, dating, covering and refrigerating prepped items for the line Performing opening, closing & side duties – setting up, stocking, and breaking down all kitchen equipment and prep, line, expo stations Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, line, expo, dish room and back dock Cleaning dishes and operating a dish machine Practicing safety and sanitation standards Having a sense of urgency Stocking products Recycling products Properly reading items printed on order tickets or automated Kitchen Display System Assembling orders - double checking product quality and specs Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge Involved in handling all re-cook, special prep, long ticket, large party/voucher group procedures Running food as needed Communicating professionally with co-workers and Front-of-the-House staff Acting as a liaison between the Heart-of-the-House and Front-of-the-House staff Job Requirements Include Performing duties which require bending, reaching, lifting and standing for long periods of time Maintaining a well-groomed appearance (“having a plan”) Following all uniform guidelines Practicing all safety & sanitation standards Recycling products, where possible Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers Maintaining HRC’s 5 core Values and Mission Statement

Core Responsibilities

Perform dishwashing and a range of kitchen duties, including receiving products, preparing food to specifications, assembling orders, and stocking supplies. Maintain clean, organized, and safe kitchen areas while coordinating professionally with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Requirements

The role requires the ability to bend, reach, lift, and stand for extended periods, along with following uniform, safety, and sanitation standards. Candidates should be organized, attentive to detail, calm in a fast-paced environment, and friendly toward guests and coworkers.
