Job Description
WHO WE ARE
Magnus Energy helps organisations navigate the energy transition. As one of Europe’s leading energy consultancies, we support system operators, energy suppliers, regulatory authorities and many others from strategy through to delivery. From setting a new direction and reshaping organisations, to moving projects forward, delivering change and optimising operations.
Our diverse international team includes technical experts, programme managers, management consultants and pragmatic problem-solvers. With 17+ nationalities across five European hubs, we cover every aspect of the energy transition - working towards a secure, sustainable and affordable energy system, and a bright future for all.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Learning Experience Lead, you play a dual operational and strategic role in running and evolving our Academy and translating expert knowledge into learning experiences. Together with our Head of People & Culture you own learning and development at Magnus Energy.
This role combines hands-on execution with the ownership to improve, innovate and challenge how we develop our people.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Run and evolve our Internal Academy - Our Internal Academy provides a structured development journey for our consultants across personal development, knowledge and skills. You keep the curriculum impactful and relevant, lead the annual reviews and improve modules based on learner feedback and business needs.
Turn our expertise into learning - Much of our expertise lives in the minds of our consultants and in the work we deliver for clients. You collaborate with subject matter experts to capture that knowledge and transform it into engaging learning journeys across classroom, online and blended formats. You design experiences that are practical, interactive and energising for learners.
Build and optimise our LMS - Our LMS is a platform for creating high-quality learning experiences. You build and maintain learning journeys for internal, and where relevant external, audiences, ensure content meets our standards, and continuously improve the learner experience.
Raise quality and drive innovation - You maintain consistent quality across our programmes by working with shared learning principles and standards. You gather and analyse feedback, track participation and outcomes, and use learning technology and AI to enhance efficiency and impact. You stay curious, experiment with new approaches and share best practices across the organisation.
Support our external Academy - When needed, you contribute to client-facing learning programmes by helping translate our expertise into learning experiences that create value for clients.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic consultancy environment, who loves turning learning & development strategy into clear, engaging learning experiences and brings a proactive, service‑oriented mindset.
In addition, you bring:
An HBO or Master’s degree in Learning & Development, Educational Sciences, Instructional Design, HRM, Psychology, or Educational Technology.
2-5 years of relevant experience in L&D, instructional design, or learning experience roles, preferably in a consultancy or fast paced environment
A proactive mindset, you are detail oriented and take ownership of projects.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a track record of coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing timelines effectively.
Proficiency with LMS platforms, digital learning tools and practical AI applications for content creation.

This role is offered at 32 hours per week
