Role Description The Event Manager Amsterdam Nightlife role is an on-site role based in Amsterdam for freelancers, to start with on the 31st of December for our NYE parties. In this position, you are planning, coordination, and execution of the NYE events and experiences, including liaising with venues, partners, and suppliers. managing the event, with event scheduling, guest list management, and on-site event support. Qualifications Foundational event planning and coordination skills, including organizing timelines, logistics, and on-site activities. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Basic marketing and social media skills, with an interest in promoting events and engaging audiences online. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with venues, partners, and guests. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and thrive in a fast-paced nightlife environment. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch or other languages is an advantage. Enrollment in or completion of a relevant study program (e.g., Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications) is preferred. Genuine interest in Amsterdam nightlife, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences. Available on the 31st of December (NYE events)

Requirements

Requires at least five years of relevant experience, foundational event planning and coordination skills, and strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Applicants should have basic marketing and social media skills, be fluent in English, be available on December 31, and be able to work flexible evening and weekend hours; relevant study is preferred.
