WHAT YOU'LL DO You'll design the hardware our portfolio companies depend on: the assemblies, enclosures, and physical infrastructure that turn ideas into working systems. This is hands-on CAD work. You'll take designs from concept to manufacturing documentation, work alongside our engineers, and create things that actually get built. YOUR WORK Creating and maintaining 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings Developing design documentation for fabrication and assembly Supporting prototyping and physical builds in our workshop Participating in design reviews and contributing to engineering decisions Managing design files, version control, and documentation Collaborating with engineers and technical teams on system design and integration WHO WE ARE Our wider group builds and operates companies internationally, with experience across New York, London, Tokyo, and Bali. WHO YOU ARE Have completed or are close to completing a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a closely related technical field Have hands-on experience with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, or similar professional CAD tools Have a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, design for manufacturing, and technical drawing Have experience through university projects, internships, personal projects, or other practical design work Can work independently, learn quickly, and solve design problems Are able to work fully on-site in Bali, Indonesia for 4-6 months WHAT WE PROVIDE 4-6 month internship in Bali, Indonesia 25-hour work week: 11 AM to 5 PM On-campus rooms available at competitive rates Daily lunch included Strong interns can move into a full-time role across the group after the internship Interested? Core Responsibilities

Create and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings, and prepare documentation for fabrication and assembly. Support prototyping and workshop builds, participate in design reviews, manage design files and version control, and collaborate with engineers on system design and integration.

Requirements

Applicants must have completed or be close to completing a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field, along with practical experience using professional CAD tools. They should understand engineering fundamentals, design for manufacturing, and technical drawing, be able to work independently, and be available on-site in Bali for 4–6 months.
