Functieomschrijving As a Robot Operator / New Construction Techniques Specialist, you play a crucial role on the construction site at Monumental. You collaborate with your colleagues to deploy construction robots that take over heavy and repetitive tasks, such as bricklaying. The goal is to make construction more efficient and innovative by utilizing this advanced technology. You are not just an operator but also a hands-on problem solver who adapts to changing situations on the site. You will join a dynamic team where you will be trained step by step to operate and support the robots. Your work mainly takes place outdoors, combining your existing construction knowledge with operating modern equipment. In doing so, you contribute to the future of construction, where technology and craftsmanship go hand in hand. Werkzaamheden Ensuring the correct placement of the construction robot and associated equipment. Preparing all necessary materials and equipment before work begins. Starting and operating the construction robot during the work process. Monitoring the progress and quality of the robot's work. Adjusting and adapting the work as the situation on the construction site changes. Collaborating with colleagues to develop practical solutions for unexpected situations. Moving and setting up equipment for the next phase of the work. Functie eisen You have experience working on or around construction sites. You are handy and enjoy working with your hands. You think practically and are used to improvising when things don't go as planned. You are willing to attend a two-week practical training in Amsterdam. You are reasonably proficient with smartphones, computers, and apps. You are curious about new construction techniques and open to learning. You enjoy working with colleagues and communicate sufficiently in English. You have a technical education (preferred). You hold a driver's license (preferred). Core Responsibilities

Set up and operate construction robots, prepare materials and equipment, and monitor the progress and quality of robotic work. Adapt operations to changing site conditions, solve practical problems with colleagues, and move equipment between work phases.

Requirements

Applicants should have construction site experience, practical hands-on ability, and a willingness to learn new construction techniques and attend two weeks of practical training in Amsterdam. Reasonable proficiency with smartphones, computers, and apps, and sufficient English communication skills are expected; technical education and a driver's license are preferred.
