About Ocean Justice Collective
Industry: Civic and Social Organizations
Company size: 2-10 employees
The Ocean Justice Collective is an initiative to create a more inclusive space within the Dutch ocean community. A space where intersectional issues like climate and environmental justice, colonialism, food security, cultural identity, gender gaps and racism, are also recognized as central to ocean action. Our goal is to bridge ocean and social sciences to make sure the ocean movement represents all of us, from policy rooms to research labs. Where ocean advocates, marine scientists, and young and early career ocean, who have often felt underrepresented, can have a safe space to belong and most importantly to create real ocean action from our perspectives.
