Coordinates shipping and receiving of inbound materials and/or outbound goods from a manufacturing location. (50%) Maintains shipping records to track arrival and departure times. (20%) Collects distribution channels metrics for analysis. (20%) Monitors freight costs and suggests reasonable alternatives. Core Responsibilities
The Logistics Assistant coordinates the shipping and receiving of inbound and outbound materials while maintaining accurate tracking records. They are also responsible for analyzing distribution metrics and monitoring freight costs to suggest efficiency improvements.
Requirements
The role requires an individual capable of managing logistics documentation and performing data analysis on distribution channels. Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and collaborating within a team-oriented culture.
